2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Or Polish military aid bill, while we're at it.
Poland stopped sending equipment back in September because the Ukies tried to sue them over some EU grain deal. I think it’s also because Poland ran out of shit to send but I can’t find a specific source for that.

No idea about any Israeli aid failing though.

Ten new IDF losses, including the commander of the Paran brigade, Col. Itzhak Ben Basat, and the commander of Golani's 13th battalion, Lt. Col. Tomer Grinberg:

At least more people are realizing now the next big conflict is not going to be US/Europe vs Russia/China but the entire civilized world vs Islamic dark age.
Weird that lefties love Muslims when Lenin thought the final battle wouldn’t be against capitalism but it would be against Islam.

UKMTO reports another incident in the Red Sea near Hodeidah:
AP, quoting an American official, says that the Houthis fired two missiles at a merchant vessel, which missed. A US warship also shot down a Houthi drone.

This whole "war" is so funny.

Modernized and fully funded military with vast amounts of international support engaging in a grueling war with a paramilitary force that exists in a 25 square mile plot of dirt. Armed with nothing but jerry rigged off the shelf drones, Soviet and Soviet derivative small arms, and commercially purchased para motors.

Nonetheless we get months of nonsense about how hard this all is while doing everything possible to maintain the victim narratives.

Incredible helmet cam footage of a lone Yahalom reservist killing two terrorists at point blank range in Shujayya. He exchanges fire with the first and eliminates him, is wounded by a grenade thrown by the second, and then advances into the next room where he kills him as well:

It's going to be wonderful having this living corpse for another 4 years because Trump doesn't know when to quit. The Repubs could run anyone else and win but Trump is the only one who breaks their brains enough to mobilize the Dems against him. All the pro-Gaza people would stay at home and not vote if it was anyone other than Trump.
Ugh 😫 probably True. Orange man engenders such hatred that the Dems could run Kamala Harris and still win.

Sounds like every single war America lost, except for the drones. Taliban and Vietcong had no drones.

I doubt this will take 20 years and culminate in a shameful withdrawal, though.

Heard that an IDF soldier killed a Jew by mistake. Something along the lines of shooting before talking and all that. Does anyone have any info on that? Is it true or false? What evidence is there for this?

Yeah, it's true. It happened during the shooting at the entrance to Jerusalem a few weeks ago.

At its core, America couldn't really justify holding onto territory on the other side of the world to its own people. Even 9/11 only justified a punitive campaign for about a few years at most, not an aimless occupation. Israel is right next door to Gaza whom routinely shoots and kills Israeli citizens given the chance.

Watchdog says educational system of agency for Palestinian refugees ‘taught hate every day’ to those who took part in October 7 massacres

The lower house of the Swiss parliament has voted to cancel the funding it provides the UN agency for Palestinian refugees amid persistent accusations that the organization glorifies terror against Israel.

The decision made Tuesday sees Switzerland move to cut some $21 million in annual funding from the United Nations Relief Works Agency. Switzerland was the ninth-biggest donor.

UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini bemoaned the move, tweeting that he hoped the Swiss Senate would overrule the decision.

“Disheartened by Switzerland Parliament’s national council move to cut aid to @UNRWA, as the Agency is recognized as a major humanitarian actor in #Gaza & the region. Hope the Senate will revise this decision as @UNRWA is the first responder in Gaza and a lifeline for millions,” he posted on X.

“As a country that leads on International Humanitarian Law, I am disappointed in this decision to cut aid to the largest and most active Humanitarian Agency on the ground in #Gaza today. Cutting funds jeopardizes services during an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe.”

The Swiss move to cut aid was led by People’s Party MP David Zuberbühler, according to IMPACT-se, which lobbied in favor of the move.

IMPACT-se, an organization based in the UK and Israel, monitors education curricula around the world to determine whether they are in compliance with UNESCO standards on peace, tolerance and nonviolence.

“Israelis have been let down disastrously by the gaggle of international organizations that make Switzerland their home, and none more so than UNRWA, which taught hate every day to the October 7 terrorists. Now, the Swiss parliament is having its say. We hope the diplomats are paying attention to their hosts,” said IMPACT-se CEO Marcus Sheff, welcoming the move.

Israel and other groups have long argued that UNRWA school materials glorify terrorism and anti-Israel incitement.

A recent IMPACT-se study found that several UNRWA staffers have expressed praise for the atrocities committed by the Hamas terror group on October 7, when terrorists stormed across the border from Gaza, killing some 1,200 people in Israel, mainly civilians massacred in their homes and at a music festival, and taking some 240 hostages.

The report detailed social media posts by numerous Gaza- and West Bank-based members of UNRWA, which provides welfare and humanitarian services for Palestinian refugees from the 1948 and 1967 wars and their descendants. The posts by staff members, including teachers and educational staff, expressed praise or approval of the devastating onslaught.

The report said that over half of Gaza’s 500,000 school pupils attend UNRWA-operated educational institutions, and that the Palestinian Authority curriculum taught in these schools “is replete with antisemitism and encourages violence,” while UNRWA staff add their own harmful educational materials to the curriculum.

Previous IMPACT-se reports have demonstrated that “UNRWA educational materials incite to violence, glorify martyrdom, demonize Israel, and promote antisemitism,” the report added.
