I genuinely don’t believe there’s a western army ready for a war like this.
We like to think that NATO armies have a huge technological advantage, but the reality is that Russia is several years ahead just on something like drones.
Yeah, there are drones in Western armies. Expensive, MI-complex approved drones that are meant to be fielded by trained experts in limited numbers.
Now wtf is NATO going to do against an opponent like Russia that don’t just have a few hundred drones, but have integrated them with ground units, and are ready to fly thousands of them every day? Heck, they’re already equipping units with weapons that didn’t even exist when the war broke out.
Can recommend. He’s an interesting fella, has published dozens of books, taught himself 5 (I think) languages. Straddles the line between genius and madman quite nicely. (Like, back in the day Dugin used to be into some genuinely weird shit. Nazi occultism etc. Not necessarily as a proponent but still.)
Plus many of his ideas are interesting and totally unknown in the west.
If you follow western “political experts” or philosophers, it’s the same garbage as nauseam. (Whether Marxism or liberalism).
Dugin presents some actual interesting ideas that rarely ever get featured in western media. (Though he’s occasionally kinda repetitive with some of his talking points like LGBTQ bullshit.)
