So unless he has another major MI, it doesn't appear that he's literally on death's doorstep. But it does appear that he's got chronic pain going on. Probably on a pain-management plan, I'd wager

From the way he describes it and the medical stuff he's posted, it sounds like he could live for years more, keel over suddenly tomorrow, or just about everything between that. Either way, it's painful and debilitating.

In some ways, I think it can be best described as he's undergoing the process many people have to wait until their 80s or 90s to happen to them. Just everything sorta falling apart at once, no real reason other than you're old, and now you're in God's waiting room passing time till the Reaper calls your number.

I think he's mentioned the incongruity of being in rooms filled with dying people twice his age on stream before. Jimbo got the shit draw of the genetic lottery.
