Doing locals after rumble isn’t useful
This guy just straight up doesn’t understand the business model/value proposition of locals.
It’s the premium post show you idiot!
The entire point, from the Locals perspective isn’t for you to be talking at the audience. You’re supposed to do a show, answer a few super chats, then go to locals to have an open forum where you can communicate directly with the fans, answer more personal questions and just have a more intimate interaction that doesn’t require paying you to notice them.
This isn’t a new concept and it’s existed well before locals. Why? Because it works. The problem is he doesn’t organize his streams anymore.
If he weren’t such a lazy drunk, he’d do 3 hour streams max. 2 hours of prepared topic, with an extra hour for distractions, tangents, and super chats. Meanwhile, he should use said tangents to say “this looks fun, let’s save this for later and check it out on locals. He already does this for Rumble, so save the smallest stuff for locals.
The locals show still has to be a show, no one on earth wants to eat a wealthy yet depressed alcohol mope around his dirty kitchen.
What’s that? 2 a.m. central is too late? Gee, maybe start your show earlier then. It’s not like this is you job or something,
Jesus Christ man.
You know, I would almost say “I get it” to his family excuses. But let’s be real. There are millions of people with 5 kids, and they still manage to have jobs full time jobs, most of which require a commute. and for most families both parents work do this.
Yet somehow Nick, who works from home and is only obligated to do 4 hours of work per day, from the comfort of his own home, is too busy unless he does it in the dead of night? Sorry, I’m not buying it. Just like I’ve never once believed his many “unexpected” drives.
Plus: he works from home and his kids are home schooled. He could still see them all day AND do his teaching while finding time to prepare his streams and then perform for 4 hours. Especially if he started 7 or 8 pm. Then he can be done with the main show by 10 or 11, do locals until 12, and then be done for the night. Giving him plenty of time to wash up, eat, and then get a full 8 hours of sleep before waking up to take his kid to…whatever it is they have to do at the crack of dawn(has he ever said what activity this is? My only thoughts would be track or water polo and I doubt it’s either this time of year).
That’s a 16 hour day Nick, standard for most people. And guess what? Your job and life is so easy, especially with a wife and nanny that it’s completely doable. Even better, your job doesn’t need to be done every day of the week. With your audience and contract You could easy do 3 nights a week on this schedule and take the other days to spend time with family and maybe even prep the topics did the show or even prep the entire week’s worth of topics.
Nick could have a successful show, have a happy family life, and be healthy. But he doesn’t, and it’s all because of his drinking, bad sleeping habits, and porn addiction. He’s more willing to destroy everything than be a normal, productive person.
I keep thinking about his comment to Dick when he once again bitched about shower texting. “How am I so much busier than everyone else?”
The answer is, you’re not. You’re barely busy at all. If he wants to see real busy, he should see the life of the standard tv news anchor. They have to figure out what news stories are worth talking about in air, they need to deal with whatever bullshit the producers yell at them, they spend all day in meetings figuring stuff out, then they do almost an hour getting their hair and makeup done for the camera and doing mic checks only to be on air live for an hour or two at a time. Usually in the evening but sometimes in the morning. Do you think they just show up to the studio and start rolling? Hell no, they’re at the studio all day. They work harder, longer, have more pressure, can be fired in a moment, and they make less money than you. And I can guarantee none of them text people in the shower. That’s not a busy person thing to do, it’s a desperate person thing to do.
He reached out to people on the shower because he needs constant stimulation. His family was asleep in that hotel, he was alone. He want streaming, he was likely scared or anxious. I feel like he’s become someone who needs to fe in conversation at all times, even if it’s negative, just so he can feel valid in his shallow existence
