Oh, without a doubt, but even still, I can imagine it's quite a jarring experience. You're a little kid, just enjoying life and having platonic relationships, then you turn 13, hit puberty, and suddenly every male around you wants to put their dick in you. Suddenly you can't really just "be friends" with boys because there's always going to be that underlying sexual tension. It's just how men are wired. Prior to the modern day, every woman went through this, and mom would just sit down with their little girl and give them "the talk," and most of these women would grow out of the initial discomfort and start to adore the kind of attention being a woman brought, some even learning how to manipulate it to their advantage. Even if they didn't love it, most people just learned to accept it.
I know I'm over-simplifying it, but what can I say? I'm a man, I'll never really know that feeling, I can only try to describe what I've observed growing up before all of this insanity took over the culture. Most of these pooners have been abused/neglected in some way. Uncle or cousin or someone touched them inappropriately, and they internalized that as "they wouldn't have touched me if I was a boy. I wish I wasn't a girl." In more sane times, we would have helped these people get through that experience, and helped them to realize that just because your uncle or whoever was a piece of shit doesn't mean that all men are evil or that you should hate yourself. Not anymore. Now it's just "oh, you're uncomfortable with your body? You must be a boy, then! Time to go chop off your tits and carve the flesh from your thigh to make a rot-dog!"
