All I know is what Null posted on Twitter. I do know from tech circles that mid level employees at Google generally recieve around 1.5 million and two million once their stock option mature and on top of that Dong Gone has a six figure CTO salary at Honeycomb.

I don't even know for sure it is specifically Dong Gone doing this but I'm speculating that is is because they're really the only troon with enough financial resources to bankroll a multi year gayop.

Imagine if they spent this money and effort on improving themselves. Their lives would be a golden success story. Their problems would become smaller and smaller. we know for a fact that dong gone has a group of people which help him send in complaints to any place that dares help the site. we have proof of this due to two of the people involved bragging about it. i believe they call their group end kiwifarms or something of that nature. that is the only group i am aware of at least.

So the thing is that a usual map looks like this.



So as you can see, Cogent doesn't hold a monopoly, in the same way Mastercard/Visa are not a monopoly. But when Lumen/GTT force Psychz to force a customer to take down Kiwi Farms, nobody in that chain of command is going to say no. GTT/Lumen both have a strong relationship with Cogent, Psychz needs them for all of their customers, and then Psychz's customers depend solely on Psychz.

For them to really be able to tell Cogent no, they'd need the balls to cut Cogent off completely, which many companies are just not going to do for Kiwi Farms or silly immaterial things such as principles.

But they're not a monopoly.

Yeah, I'll just occasionally check .st to see if it's up or not (it's up now) and if it isn't I'll just switch to tor or do some gaming or watch tv or talk to family if they're around. It does mean I can't easily link to receipts in arguments, but I can provide screenshots and when I explain the sheer effort being used to suppress the truth it gives merit to the arguments.
