It astonishes me how a company blackmails ISP's to remove Kiwifarms in threat of termination. If they were to do this to Google, Facebook or Reddit, it would be all over the media.
I believe I said it before, but it bears repeating - especially for anyone new to the ongoing saga. Cogent has a lot of balls to bully ISPs into dropping the site when it presently has its own issues with customers, one of whom is a known spam operator, using their own services for list bombing, malware, phishing, and spam e-mails.

1. Is attacking the .ST root authority a new level of cybercrime for the hackers on estrogen? I'm guessing that attack coincides with extortive emails.
2. Are there any prominent .ST domains (not us or Poast)?
Other have already answered, but I'll reiterate that this is a scorched earth policy of sorts where the bad actors can simply say, "drop KF and the attack will almost certainly go away. *wink wink nudge nudge*

The part about "paid complainers" is especially interesting to me. Is anything real?

I seem to recall a screenshot being posted where one of the site's haters mentioned something about the updated information about our internet provider being passed on to a (discord?) group of people primed to launch another round of targeted harassment complaints on command.

i believe they call their group end kiwifarms or something of that nature. that is the only group i am aware of at least.
At one point there was #DropKiwiFarms and #EndKiwiFarms. I have no idea which of either is still active and which has fizzled out worse than the average MTF t-levels.

#DropKiwiFarms was too associated with Keffals who was later cancelled for grooming minors just kidding they don't care that he did that, they cancelled him for being racist and saying slurs or some retarded shit like that. So #EndKiwiFarms was made and seems to be headed by Dong-Gone. In general it's all the same thing, I remember when the Byuuicide happened the hashtag was #CancelKiwiFarms.

...Are they not worried that we might do what they accuse us of doing and finding out who they are and putting together a salacious background check that's easily accessible?

This is insane. I lurked for a long time before I made an account and this place is awesome. It's nothing like it's reported as by the people trying to take it down. It's just a fun place to discuss the silly, possibly harmful things that idiots do and have some laughs along the way. It's a very special corner of the internet and I hope to God (Josh) it stays up on clearnet.
I can't go TOR because it's too questionable legally in my current location.
Thank you for fighting the good fight. May God bless us all for many, many years to come :heart-full:
i have been on the internet for quite some time and had always heard this site described as a bad place full of bad people who do nothing all day but harass people like chris chan. so i was very surprised when i saw how generally nice most everyone here is. it really is just a nice chill little corner of the internet for people to discuss things and laugh at people doing dumb things. i have faith the site will stay up as long as jersh has a way to make it so.
Its sad if you think about it. They think they are hurting everyone by having kf not work right during christmas. But all of us have families or things to do so we wouldn't be here anyway. That's how fucked up their view is because they have no one.
the thing that gets me is that not only do you have these people spending their day doing nothing but sending in complaints but you have actual companies caving in to these complaints and threatening other companies to follow suit.

it just amazes me that so much effort is being put towards taking down a random website. what do they think is going to happen if they win exactly?

i really would love to understand what the end goals for everyone involved in trying to take the site down are because i do not think its as simple as wanting control over everything. this feels weirdly personal.

I'm sure they have perfect OpSec and no one will ever figure out who they are or infiltrate their Discord.

surely they will all be fine with their actions remaining a secret and will never be overcome with the need to brag about it to get attention.
2.6k currently online. The loss of .net doesn't seem to have had the effect they hoped it would, the sneed is strong.
i have been using .st still and its been going fine there was a rough spot yesterday but otherwise its been smooth sailing.

.Net is currently redirecting to .st so assuming there aren't any other problems everything should be normal.

Liz and Cogent have the holidays to focus on the farms and probably figure the slower support times means the farms might lose Clearnet visibility for a short while, at least until new year's. - Its a bit pathetic, really.

I wish @Null the best and hope his Christmas isn't taken up with this bullshit. Godspeed best slobbermutt
