How Could they be so regarded to think the vague term “artistic nudity” could be enforced as a guideline? Plus as far as I know, they lose advertisers because of these ethots.
They would be better off just adding specific policies to the terms as things come up (like all streamers must be shown to be fully clothed). It’s a never ending battle no matter what, but at least they have clear definitions.

I don't think they care about the money (there are only so many popular whores, video hosting/streaming is expensive, etc) - but they 100% do not want the bad press around restricting content/being prudes or even admitting it's a problem on the platform.
It seems like they've been trying to handle the problem by pretending it doesn't exist for the last few years and if they start admitting it exists now, it just shows they could have handled it years ago and just didn't.

I actually think that they're gonna push the nudity thing again. They've been seemingly indicating they want some kind of Twitch after dark service for a few years now. I think they still want that.
After all, what's better than an army of parasocial people who get indocturnated into that lifestyle when they're like 14 or 15 who spend copious amounts of money on the website?
