It's no wonder people think people online are just bots, but sadly it's most likely just the current mindset people have. Get told a simple narrative. Know it to be absolute truth. Don't know why, just believe. Then automatically distrust anything and everything that goes against what you know to be absolutely true.

I'm pretty sure the Have Your Say section on the BBC is just bots and bots and more bots. I refuse to believe my fellow countrymen are *that* stupid

Another explanation is that people have accepted enough things as true which clearly aren't. They no longer think in a manner consistent with an objective reality. Where comment sections are just to reinforce their socially constructed view of reality.

They are real people and real posts. How they are presented is the fake bit.
Like all BBC content where the public is supposed to have their views heard the BBC starts with how they want the discussion to play out and wait for the public to submit the pieces. The Jeremy Vine show is a perfect example of it in action. And the counter is how notable it is when someone goes off script because they bullshitted the screening process, usually on Question Time but sometimes Vine‘s show.

It's astonishing to me that a person can consciously acknowledge "you're their bitch" and then deliberately do things publicly that "they" forbid and set out clear penalties for. They should throw these whiny faggots into the stockade and be done with it.

Though I will say it's an absolute delight seeing at least some people getting slapped in the face with a dose of reality. Lazy fucks thought LARPing as soldiers would be fun happy times. Turns out that even with pathetically low standards, the military does in fact expect you to be a soldier.

On the other hand, we're 100% fucked if a big military steps up to us looking for a fight. This batch of pussies will cut and run (or kill themselves or each other with incompetence) the moment there's even a hint of live fire inbound.
