If this is how they use the Kiwi Farms I can’t really make an argument for why it should stay up. You probably need to ignore some people. You should've seen the Ukraine/Russia threads before the split. If you think this is bad, oh boy.

Yes, and no. It's an American ideal that one should be able to say what they want and not get arrested for it, unlike other nations where you can get arrested for lèse-majesté, or maybe just the Bundeswehr makes you turn your "I <3 HITLER" T-shirt inside-out or be ticketed. But that doesn't imply a right to a platform, and the internet makes this a thorny issue, which Josh is wrestling with every day keeping Kiwi Farms up. It's not one I'm prepared to address at length here, at least not right now.

That said, I do think that Kiwi Farms is most often hamstrung by Kiwi Farmers. It's very difficult to find the valor in a bunch of people sniggering the n-word (pun intended), feeding each other conspiracy theories, confounding rumor with truth, and debating the Holocaust moderated by someone calling himself wignat_1488.

Making a thread for its discussion isn't the same as denying it, you dumb sow. Holocaust deniers usually cite David Irving or Carlo Mattogno rather than Norman Finkelstein or Raul Hilberg. That deniers have effectively taken over the thread isn't anyone's fault but the failures of affirmers to better argue their positions. You can have all the facts on your side and still sabotage your own case with an inability to effectively convey them into a meaningful response.
