Predictable, but I'm sure Sam's also just getting amped based off everything she's reading.

Folks getting overwhelmed by too many well meaning orders is not uncommon. Small businesses with physical shipping are not easy to run at the best of times, let alone during a rush.

I don't think Belinda had ill intent with the fundraising streams, but I do think doing them was a bad choice for her.

Belinda isn't especially close with Yaba, so even asking to do the charity stream could be considered bad taste. It's hard to get a 100% yes when the person you are asking is going through a messy grieving process with her kids that's playing out online and has cops involved. And if Yaba said yes and then regretted it, it's hard to walk that back.

Of course if everyone had acted like an adult, any conflict here could have been solved via DMs. But alas, content must be made!

The above is not meant to be a defense of Yaba and Sam's behavior nor offense to Belinda.

Yaba and Sam are clearly using the fundraising streams as ammo because Sam is ass mangled about Belinda interviewing Zeith. It's simply convenient that perceptions about the fundraising streams can be manipulated by Sam and Yaba to give them more reason to turn on Belinda.

Belinda seems quite kind and tried her best to support folks she saw as being in need, but the fundraising streams were likely to blow up in her face because she stuck her neck out for folks ready to knife her the moment it suited them.

To clarify, I agree with the points in your post. Zeith helps out Ron's mom and grandma to this day, which I think counts a lot regarding his character. Imo it's more likely that he's aware of the racist, sexist, psycho shit Ron has put out online but was choosing to overlook or downplay it, rather than he wasn't aware. Maybe he meant he wasn't aware of the degree of how racist, sexist, psycho Ron was. In any case, this doesn't necessarily mean he agrees with or is like Ron and this is pretty common. Like people who have that one older unhinged relative doing insane shit online and they have to get along in real life so they just explicitly ignore it

I was just trying to reason out how Sam & Yaba was seeing things and why they are so angry/feel justified in their anger, to illustrate my overall point, which is just shut the fuck up and no one cares. Even if they're right objectively - which general consensus, they are fucking not but let's say they are - they're still wrong. They're handling everything wrong and making things worse

And it just repeats the pattern of when they freaked out over Belinda the first time, the whole mess with interviewing Tyrant's Downfall or whatever that fuckshit was, I forget and don't care to look up the exact details. But it's the same pattern - Sam & Yaba freak out for whatever reason they say but what a coincidence, it happens to be whenever they perceive Belinda as encroaching their/Sam's "territory"

Which is so stupid as fuck, to be so possessive over ron and clara. Viewers can't get enough of this shit and literally the fun is getting different perspectives (from the farms and reactors) on the same thing over and over. Sam and Belinda have a huge overlap in watchers so guarantee they all would've watched both interviews from Sam and Belinda regardless of who got the interview first. If Sam wasn't such a fucking crackpot she would've realized the advantages of interviewing someone second - she could've asked questions that wasn't covered or asked for clarifications on some things from Belinda's initial interview

Also for someone usually so intuitive and honed in on human behavior, Yaba sure is acting stupid and blind as fuck about the optics of this whole thing. Like Sam was asking Zeith for an interview in the DM's and now Sam and Yaba are acting like they're above interviewing him the way Belinda did? Are they pretending that if Sam would've interviewed him, she wouldn't have encouraged donations or that viewers wouldn't want a way to show their gratitude for Zeith's time and honesty?

Yeah. It's been noted before in this and Ron's thread, that what Sam now claims is the core of the issue - the unsolicited fundraiser and not handling the superchats with the extreme responsibility and transparency you have to in situations like this, is actually a reasonable complaint. I know I would hate to have money raised on my family's behalf without my knowledge.
It's everything else - the timing, the objective lies and obvious bitterness, as well as the fact that this is not really about the superchats, what's making Sam and Yaba the bad guys.

Absolutely! That much is clear. She begged Z to come on her stream, and he wouldn't say yes. But then she flips because Belinda went live with them "in the middle of the night" while she was asleep, as if she were owed any heads up. So bright and early the next morning, she does a livestream and goes OFF, and then the race was begun. NONE of the bitter, salty, or ungrateful stuff happened until AFTER Sam did that livestream.
