Sony hate thread

who the fuck cares about the X-Man right now and who will care 7 years later? it cant be the Zoomers. ask them who their favourite X-Man is and the answer you get is either Wolverine or "what".

Millennial's maybe but that pool is already small and i doubt most dont care either way.

Gen X will be way too old to be playing video games at that point. they would be around their 50s and 60s

most Boomers would be dedead.
What fucking planet do you live on?

All PS4/Early5 Sony first party sales figures leaked.
Last of Us 2 had zero legs lol.
Bloodbourne sold very well.

The Days Gone guy really wasn't bullshitting when he ragequit Sony over the sequel getting cancelled despite selling 8 millions copies. Fuck Sony for being scared of a extremely vaguely right-wing if you squint thing being popular; bunch of bitches.

Rachet and Clank is the best-selling PS5-exclusive before it came to PC at 2.34 million sell-through units. Very impressive! That only puts it behind... *checks best-selling Switch games*

And that's only counting physical sales; Nintendo doesn't publish digital for whatever reason.

Captain Toad was also a Wii U & 3DS game, I believe, so its numbers are even higher.

Kinda wish we got a Playstation All-stars sequel on the ps4 tbh. It really needed a second chance. A sequel to the first could have been like a whole new Melee.
We'd get stuck with characters like Abby, Aloy, and Miles Morales if they did, instead of good ones like the Crash, Spyro, and the Tearaway guy. Lots of potential but they'd never do anything good with it, probably.

According to this article, the 3DS version of Captain Toad has sold a rounded up 43 thousand copies within it's first two months in Japan when it came out (it sold 42,818 copies to be exact as the article says), and VGChartz claims the Wii U version sold at least 1.37 million. so that makes it a total of 3.72 million ( and at least 3.763 million if you add those inital sales of the 3DS version in japan), so R&C neeeded to be ported to PC (which undoubtedly would have eaten into the total profits due to what was likely needed to port it to PC in a half-decent condition) to even beat out a game about a fucking Super Mario toad :story:

What's with this trend of action games having an over-the-shoulder 3rd person style camera? It works for shooters, but it doesn't suit these types of games too well.

Also that Venom game is just going to be Spider-Man dlc that's going to sold as a full release, isn't it?

I miss the PS2-era.

I was more thinking the early ps4 era. Though beating the shit out of Abby sounds fun and hey golf club final smash is kinda funny.

Gran Turismo Sport had a lot more sales than I was expecting. But then again, given the diehard loyalty GT fans have for the franchise, maybe it's not that surprising.
