The only way I see Cogent changing their stance is if some kind of pressure is put on them in some way financially and considering they are a powerful entity already it's hard to see how they can be effected at all unless they somehow can have their stock value lowered.

Dave Schaeffer sold 45,000 shares of Cogent on September 11th of this year and an addition 20,000 shares of Cogent on December 13th with additional trades in between. As of September 11th, he had sold off 155,000 shares of the company and purchased none, the December sale brought the total up to 298,191.
Cogent's Chief Revenue Officer James Bubeck sold 1920 on December 6th, for a total of 5,760 this year.
Chief Financial Officer Thaddeus Weed sold 9700 on December 6th, for a total of 34,250 this year.
None of these three men have purchased a single share of Cogent since the beginning of this year.

I also don't see any trades on CapitolTrades for Cogent, fwiw.

Just put in an IP and check the Connectivity tab for the routing information.

first off: no point in following up anything with regards to cloudflare. it doesn't matter what happens, the farms will never be on cloudflare again.

cogent doesn't provide protection that i'm aware of, they provide transit. you can toss any ip into something like https://ipinfo.io and it'll give you the info you need. if you're a linux nerd,
