Sony hate thread

If those leaks go into 2035, that's the end of the PS6 generation, right?

I wonder which games will get a ps6 remastered edition.

all of them, it's not like they'll have anything else, PS6's release schedule will be just as barren as PS5 if not worse with the attempt and failure at live service games and killing off all non-AAAA studios

All PS4/Early5 Sony first party sales figures leaked.
Last of Us 2 had zero legs lol.
Bloodbourne sold very well.
Digital sales are actually way lower than what had often been assumed by most, and the average money paid for a copy of the PS4-era games is around ~25 dollars.

In a world where ActiBlizz keeps ruining CoD and ditto for EA with Battlefield? No.

Does this nigga even know that Insomniac isn't as well known as Konami, Capcom, Sega, R*, Ubisoft, Squeenix, ActiBlizz or EA?
By games reporters? Ehh...

I've mentioned this offhand in the Call of Duty thread, but I'm convinced that any difference in attitude or coverage is just because it's Sony.

I recently played the Modern Warfare III campaign, and while it's not "great", it's no worse than any of the other Nu-Modern Warfare campaigns.

I'll also say that it had way more multipalyer content at launch than MWII had.

So why is it that *suddenly* game reviewers decided *this* was the time to shit all over Call of Duty and to decry *this* game as being "70 dollar DLC?"

It wouldn't have had anything to do with Microsoft buying Activision and Sony losing their stake in it, would it?

I'm just saying, I'm much more inclined to believe they're not covering *this* leak because it's Sony or because personal info got leaked, not because Insomniac is just so much more beloved than Capcom or Rockstar.

Anyways, besides personal info possibly getting leaked, why the fuck do Game Dev's get so assblasted by leaks these days? I remember back when I was a kid, they'd be showing Alpha pictures and footage of games months/years before release. That's the whole reason we have all that info on "Beta" Ocarina of Time.

It's almost like all these games today are dog shit and they're worried about people figuring it out before they can throw 70 dollars at them or something.

Not the best comparison, but I felt the same way about Advanced Warfare. Its reveal trailer was the first CoD-related thing that even remotely interested me, yet it went on to be one of the most disliked videos on YouTube for seemingly no reason.

No, it's not just because it's Insomniac - it's because apparently, personal info of Insomniac employees was leaked as well (passports is the main one I keep seeing). They don't want to get nailed for sharing that shit
Pretty sure one of those recent leaks (Capcom I think?) had employee info leaked as well. They actually don't have to cover any of that, just talk about the sales figures, their roadmaps, pretty much exactly how they covered the GTA6 and Capcom leaks. It's just bullshit to defend Sony.
