My declaration is very simple: I want as many people, across the entire world, to know that Cogent is ready and willing to censor US legal content on mere allegation. They have an AUP. They will enforce it. They will charge $20 for every complaint they forward, regardless of if you need to take action. People should be aware that such a company, willing to do so much good, is out there and on standby.

I know that everyone (government/media/Cogent employees) hate us but I think it's still worth trying the suggested things, occasionally something slips through the cracks. The worst thing will be zero impact, the best thing will be a possible connection.

Reporting websites for breaking their AUP might seem silly (why would Cogent care about double standards?) but like Null said, it's more about letting people know exactly where they stand. If you asked a normal person about it they'd think it sounded ridiculous and start asking questions.
