I assume the price increase of SIE's first-party games would apply in the EU region as well.

I've mentioned this offhand in the Call of Duty thread, but I'm convinced that any difference in attitude or coverage is just because it's Sony.

I recently played the Modern Warfare III campaign, and while it's not "great", it's no worse than any of the other Nu-Modern Warfare campaigns.

I'll also say that it had way more multipalyer content at launch than MWII had.

So why is it that *suddenly* game reviewers decided *this* was the time to shit all over Call of Duty and to decry *this* game as being "70 dollar DLC?"

It wouldn't have had anything to do with Microsoft buying Activision and Sony losing their stake in it, would it?

I'm just saying, I'm much more inclined to believe they're not covering *this* leak because it's Sony or because personal info got leaked, not because Insomniac is just so much more beloved than Capcom or Rockstar.

Anyways, besides personal info possibly getting leaked, why the fuck do Game Dev's get so assblasted by leaks these days? I remember back when I was a kid, they'd be showing Alpha pictures and footage of games months/years before release. That's the whole reason we have all that info on "Beta" Ocarina of Time.

It's almost like all these games today are dog shit and they're worried about people figuring it out before they can throw 70 dollars at them or something.
It was called 70 follar DLC because thats literally what it was, halfway through production (which was extremely rushed) the team was told to convert it from an expansion pack to a stand-alone title.

Edit: In case you can't figure it out, all of the Spiderman games were split into 2 parts. Its just that they called them Miles Morales and Venom.

But then again, I'm not even surprised that a studio that, once upon a time, had made themselves big in both 90s and 2000s for the PlayStation, only for Sony to buy them as their first party studio by pissing away every amount of quality control. You know, because it worked well with Naughty Dog, which has now become a Neil Cuckman circus show

Okay, but if the 70 dollar DLC has more content than the previous years 70 dollar full game, should it *really* alter the review scores that much?

Journalists going to bat for Sony, or journalists having faux outrage over semantics. Either way, gaming journos are still being faggots.

Explain to me what sense it makes to raise prices on games for a system that barely even has exclusives.

Not just a console with zero games, but a $69.99 one at that, which is literally the same with the previous two PlayStation consoles, pretty much making it a staple for Sony.

Wow, I have never seen a vidya company this out of fucking touch. They'll backpedal after the backlash but it would be a miracle of they even pushed one game with that asking price.
Do you really want the current crop of employees to make a Resistance today?
Leave my man James Grayson alone. He's had enough after being shitted on by French frogs.
If you're attracted to them because they look like adult women you're fine, although that may cause you problems. If you're attracted to them because they're underage you go straight into the woodchipper. That said, if you KNOW that they are underage, yeah it's best not to express that you find them attractive anymore. The term jailbait exists for a reason. Once you know it's jailbait, it's not jailbait anymore, you're just being a creep
I do like to make an update to this but as it turns out, the youngest character in the BA playable roster is 11 years old and roughly 40% of the playable girls are 15 years old. Make that as you will.

So basically I can either sign up for Gamepass for 100-160 dollars a year (I'll be honest I'm still not sure) and have access to all of Microsofts games.

Or I can pay Sony 150 dollars over the course of a year to get a single game complete?

What a time to be alive.
...you can also install a BitTorrent client and get all your games for free.

Mobile gaming used to be genuinely great, then it didn’t just die, it was killed. If a classic iOS emulator is ever made for a modern phone, it’ll change my life.
One just got made a few months ago actually.
This is pretty awesome to see, yeah this game doesn't really hold a candle to the GameCube titles but it was one of my favorite games to play on my mom's 3GS growing up so it's cool to see a way to play it again

holy shit i actually will wait for gta 6 on pc and since the ps1 skip this entire fucking "generation"
My nigger. I'm in the same boat; first gen since ps1 where I haven't bought at least 1 console, and I probably won't even pick any of them up for £199. They're not worth the money and neither are the games.
