If people can come together and create some half-decent "articles" I will create a Hugo site. Setting up Hugo is trivial, writing the articles is by far the most labor intensive part of this. If anyone wants to write an article it must be done with markdown formatting, for which I recommend Ghostwriter for a WYSIWYG interface: https://ghostwriter.kde.org/

Ideally this would all be done via git repo pull requests and issues, but I feel that's too high of a barrier for a project that doesn't even exist yet. So just copy and pasta the markdown into a codeblock into a yet-to-be-created thread.

Anyways, people like to talk about how "we expose" zoosadists and other stuff, so maybe write a list of every time we saved a puppy from being tortured to death.

Would be useful for a short guide to be compiled on how to even do this electronically. The complaint page is this, no? At minimum I think you need to make an account on the FCC website, and past that I'm unsure if the consumer complaint line is even relevant to a complaint like this.

cogent in general seems to be a pretty scummy company so it could be possible that he would rather just get rid of one random website and lose a few customers rather than deal with the same levels of complaining that cloudflare dealt with. these people only care about money and image.

but most of all they are usually cowards. LFJ most likely sent him a massive email with all the various news sources that have labeled kiwifarms as an evil nazi hate site and told him something like if cogent does not drop us they will be forced to take legal action. cogent being the company that they are most likely have many illegal dealings which could be brought up in a court case against them.

long story short dave is a coward that cares more about money and image rather than anything else. he is doing this because it will further his ambitions and make him and his company look like the brave heros who stood up to the hate.
