Did any of you use to be left wing, and became right wing later on?

Kinda... though it's not as much about politics as it is about the targets changing. Back when I was a child, I grew up around the kind of people who denounced any fun thing, like video games, rock music or movies with violence in them, as "destroying our culture and youth". They were usually old religious zealots so being against them kinda made me left wing in a way (I didn't really care much about politics back then). Now the targets have shifted to feminists, gay activists, trannies, social justice warriors etc going how saying "that's so gay", latest movie not having 10 different chinese, black and gay characters or liking Andrew Tate (keep in mind I still don't care for that bald faggot, just saying the language is similar to what people used to say about Marlin Manson before my time) is corrupting the youth and turning them into "fascists". So now I'm against them.

I was a genderqueer tumblr lefty but that phase only lasted 2-3 years and I was like 13-16ish so does it really even count? When I was in high school, there where two groups of kids recruiting people into their thing: The kids from the local megachurch and the kids from the Gay Straight Alliance. They both used the same exact method of being really, really kind to you, pretending to be your friend then "inviting you to hang out" with them after school in their youth group or at after school fag daycare. My parents worked, so I had no choice but to take the bus. If it wasn't for that I would be a pooner right now.

Used to be a leftie as a teenager and young adult, but during the first BLM riots in 2014 I realized the powers that be were cheering the destruction and deaths the untamed animals were causing and switched hard to the right.
I've kinda softened a bit, but its less me becoming middle of the road and more of me getting cynical and old.
It also doesn't help the left has gone from liberals to sociopathic lunatics in the past 15 years

I was actually pretty based in high school, but in college, I had my run-in with postmodernism.

I wanted to feel smart, and these people would use big words and phrases like “panopticon,” “dialectical materialism,” and “the base is in a dialectical relationship with the superstructure.” So using these words myself would make me feel smart, even though I had barely a clue what these meant and didn’t have the philosophical tools to argue against them.

It wasn’t until I started I noticed that postmodernism and Marxism were completely contradictory ideas did I start to branch out and reading different articles and later books on the subject by other people who were formerly duped by these charlantans.

I didn't have any classical philosophical training, but I looked up an old Philosophy 101 course from some random state university on YouTube, and literally the first class demolishes the entire leftist project.

So, classical education became one of my passions as a result of this.

When i went to high school i spend years in classrooms filled with niggers, pajeets, and sandhobbits which taught me that some races are better than others. When you are 3 of the only white people in a classroom of 32 and you see on tv, white liberal thots singing welcome refugees, you are not only turning conservative...you go all the way to fascism and pretty black pilled in the span of a week.

I'm still mostly left wing but developed right wing opinions on trannies, immigrants and non whites.
The ones that annoyingly fit the stereotypes, only because I've dealt with unfortunate confrontation and harassment/assault.
Especially when working in retail in the past.

I think I started out lolbert, then transitioned sort of like to what would be on the neo-lib left. But I hated King Nigger. I thought again about the Dems when Bernie ran, but when he got cucked said basically fuck it. TDS people drove me nuts because Trump was not that bad. I didn't want to be associated with such unhinged retards. Around 2018, I started reading here and down the rabbit hole that went.

Unfortunately, I have no name for what it is I think or believe to put it anywhere or where it even lies on the political spectrum. I should probably write myself a short and concise manifesto that outlines it and I welcome you to my Ted Talk.
At this point I'm fucking tired of it all, I want both sides to eventually kill each other, right down to the very last man on each side.
Welcome back, Q&A brother!

I've never really cared for politics, but I was a pretty big lefty libfem in my teen years. The older and more into the real world I get, the more disenfranchised I've become with the left and the more questions I start asking, which automatically makes me a far right neo nazi.
