You know what I think? I think rightoids are their own worst enemy in this matter. Outside of this place and 4chan, most rightoids hail South Park as "their show that's fighting for their free speech" just because they poked mild fun at pandering, seemingly having forgotten that they spent that last 6 years dogpiling on rightoids with Trevor Noah tier TDS.
It's a concrete example of thirsty Fandom Menace people looking for validation. They completely ignore the show itself got incredibly bad by season 20 and hasn't recovered since. Outside of memberberries meme, jokes past it aren't mentioned really. They don't talk about how funny Tegridy Farms is (it's not, but that's besides the point) or how funny PC Principal is, which he isn't due to wasted potential and a fundamentally dated understanding of college culture.
There were no jokes. It wasn't funny. Social commentary on something that means nothing is pointless.
nah it was shit. everyone's been saying Matt and Trey lost their edge half a decade ago but its true. They went from being on the edge of culture 20 years ago with parodies of wow almost right when it came out to not even being the newest show about these trends. the social commentary about streamers was both toothless and easily 5 years out of date. The fact that they're calling out Logan Paul and his drink means these old boomers seriously think he's the first person to do what he did. As if GFuel hasn't been the drink every zoomer has either heard of or tried in the past decade. It reminds me of how awful their Mark Zuckerberg parody was. they had a pewdiepie episode in 2014, Which is literally when the should have done this episode. it would have been just as on the ball as matt and trey were known for.
I think you're being a little unfair, this episode is parodying Prime Energy Drink yes kids have used it as a weird status symbol.
The episode had one good joke; the preview and intro made it seem like you were going to see tits, but it's an hour of non-stop dick. To be fair though, it's a very funny joke. I know people don't think trolling your audience is as funny as they did back in 2005, but I still think it's very funny.
Lots of HBO and Netflix shows have young attractive White women. I watched Sharper Objects on HBO and basically every single female character was White with blonde or red hair. Even stuff like The Boys on Amazon loads the top of its cast with attractive White women. Video games seem to be pushing niggers and ugly people harder than movies or television shows.
That's news to me, films and gaming are still pozzed but maybe nature is healing.
