Well the question would be is what is the makeup of the lava slug? Are they a multicellular organism or technically just a single cellular macro-organism? I mean it certainly displays characteristics inherent to animals such as movement, food-seeking and reproductive behaviors. It posseses senses such as sight to view its environment. In comparison to your sex ice sculpture which cant move since its not alive.

This would be a decent point but you've forgot something inherent to all Pokemon. As revealed in episode 17 of the first season, Pokemon aren't just mindlessly repeating their name, they're using a fully developed language.

Being fully sentient, they are not mere animals and should be given the same rights as human beings. Therefore it is morally justifiable to engage in relations with them as they are fully able to consent.

Pokemon are fully sentient, have human (and frequently above) intellect, can understand language and consent. This separates them from IRL animals and there's no moral argument against engaging in relations with them other than it's "weird".

well seeing as the definition of beastiality is "sexual excitement or gratification obtained by a human through anal or genital intercourse or other sexual contact with a nonhuman animal"you are free to have sex with all the human animals you would like however the problem arises when you have sex with a non-human species. Unfortunately since the other inferior human species extincted themselves a while back your only left with a homo sapien as your only non-beastiality option.

So running from that definition despite pokemon being supposedly sentient that still can qualify as beastiality.

Pokemins are slaves so obviously they are not equal to man. Or even children who seem to be the most prolific slaveowners of the creatures. And their most common use is gladiatorial combat for the amusement and status-seeking of man. They are wretched beasts of violent burden

Fucking a pokemin is no different from fucking a fighting dog or several other animals used for blood sports like bears or badgers
