the response from webzilla was "Hello, The reported website was blocked by the customer." see example of https://bgp.tools/prefix/80.78.16.0/20#connectivity, they originally had to only use one asn which was webzilla then to their tier one but now they have to use two. i will upload a template of my email below to webzilla. you do not have to email cogent at all for this. Please remember to use a burner and VPN when sending these emails. Remember these guys think they can moderate the whole internet. They wanted this. Please remember to use this only for good Samaritan reasons, if you have any questions feel free to ask. We didnt start the fire.

This is a direct violation of Cogent's AUP and they're getting the same treatment we do. If you have some down time during the holidays I think filing a few polite complaints for sites that blatantly break the rules is a good idea.

I used to work in this area a bit, and yes, everything is looked at in some capacity. That's what LFG has been counting on. (He sends professional looking e-mails with multiple links and it's probably easier to just take the site down than read all of it).

I knew a whole group of people who routinely just made shit up on Wikipedo. Not to push a political agenda, just to see how idiotic they could get and still have it stay there for years. Pretty sure they're still at it.

landline is a common carrier, so sneeding over DSL would really be rock solid and also extremely funny. I still have my 3mbps modem I can dust off, still works!.


Edit, Broadband services aren't protected, so it have to be direct line to KF.
Seems KF will need to have a 80k dial-up center instead.

I'll dig up my acoustic coupled 300 bps modem for the Total Retard War. The one where a retard yelling in the room you were in could knock it offline until you punched the retard into silence.

Anyone have an in with Blocked & Reported or another breadtube-adjacent-but-not-totally-pozzed podcast? Someone like that would have the potential to want to defend to the death our right to speak even if they don't agree with us. Maybe someone from O&A, despite the retarded feud they allegedly have with the Farms, could put in a good word for us?

It's a potential way to reach out to a new audience who could be sympathetic to KF's ideals but never had the opportunity to understand what we're up against before now.

FYI, Cloudflare will tell you who the host is if you file an abuse report. From there, you can just search their name to find their ASN and their upstreams.

Cloudflare doesn't always tell you who the host is, but if your complaint is very formal and structured well, they probably will.

While DSL does go over the phone lines too you don't actually have to dial in over DSL. It's always active on the line. I'm talking about classic dial-up. Where you have to dial into a phone number to connect to services or ISPs. It's actually very easy to setup your own dial-up ISP. The only thing is, modern phone lines are digital and have compression applied to the signal. So you can only get about 26Kb/s before the compression destroys the signal integrity. 56k is dead. That's more than fast enough for a mostly text BBS though.
