I wonder if Niji understands that Selen is a big enough talent that she could graduate tomorrow and basically waltz into any other big Vtuber corpo with zero issues. Vshoujos always poaching and Selen is pretty tight with Mumei so she has someone to vouch for her for Hololive if she wanted to go that route.

In contrast I do know that similar things have happened to Calli where she's had covers complete with MVs made only for things to fall through at the end where they couldn't be released (she had one such cover fall apart like that this year on Valentines I believe it was). In this case though it seems like Selen was caught off guard by it or like she thought it was ok until it wasn't. For Calli I think it's just that she's gung-ho about projects and pushes production forward while waiting for the paperwork on the backend so she does it knowing there's the risk that it might just fall through compared to this with Selen where it seems she didn't expect it.

True, but I believe in this specific situation, Selen asked Lilypichu personally if she could cover her song, got permission, and now Niggersanji just imploded it for no reason whatsoever. Calli making something, and then having to shelve it because they couldn't get perms to put it out is understandable, whatever happened here with Selen really isn't.

I kinda thought Lia would go through the submissions one by one but she got almost 800 of them. She's giving them the actual job screening treatment.

Dizzy did a stream earlier telling everyone how she got ghosted by her own family for Christmas dinner and wasn't invited to their Christmas eve dinner.
