I'm not complaining about the karate. Season 1 had so much downtime where nothing was happening I'm glad they are filling in these days with more activities.
So is Fishtank a hellhouse or is it to have a summer camp vibe? They need to pick one.

The real answer is it's supposed to be a money printer and Jet will say it's whatever he thinks appeals to people to get them to spend money. Every time someone has wanted to leave this season there's an inordinate amount of resources piled on to try to keep them to stay, even Summer who had clearly fucking snapped. Unsurprisingly, it never works because these people see through the bullshit which should have been anticipated.
They have their plan for how the show should go and won't adjust course.

My take is that a lot so far has not gone as planned but production is not willing to adjust on the fly since they have big plans for certain milestones like Christmas. Jet is the director, he needs to step in and maybe say "Hey Scott, we got something good going right now, karate may need to be a little later, are you good with that? If not we may need to do it another day."
Watching Jet talk to Meg was painful, he was unable to properly convey a good reason for staying. Then he hops on TTS from the basement and says more unhelpful nonsense.

Someone tell Jet that a $50,000 prize is not "escaping wage slavery forever." Jet hasn't even escaped wage slavery forever.

Here’s some clips and I’m in a hurry to go in full detail. So here’s some quick descriptions
Balls of shit thrown

Airhorn

Beta and TTS

Sneaking in the bathroom

And Jet going to Meg and shinji

And This is the best Christmas ever

I'm digging this season, but going to Karate is just as boring now as it was when I had to go as a kid. Clock watching until this is over brings back memories.
I like Scott, but I agree with his worries for coming back this season that just watching normal fight training would be boring. Jet originally responed to his worries by reminding him that people who didn't want to watch it could just watch any of the other active rooms, but for some reason, he sabotaged his own solution by putting everyone in training at the same time, so there wouldn't be alternatives...

People really need to drop the fixation on the "hellhouse" aspect of the show. It was mentioned in the trailer once and they haven't used it to my knowledge since. Torture does not produce good content. The cell challenges were mostly just nothing. Most people shutdown and become silent when being tortured. It's not good entertainment.

The premise of the show is never clearly explained and that's probably because it makes it easier to produce. It's whatever they want it to be. You can't fault people for making fun of the "hellhouse" idea when they never explicitly stepped away from it.

What's clear to me is that a big point of the show is to poke and prod the contestants, making them upset. But then when people want to leave they go "oh wait wait wait wait cmon please stay!"

Something that should only be done if everything starts getting too peaceful. Injecting Airsoft Fatty, Dontarius, Frank Hassle or the clones like Betty were a good driver of tension, but ultimately it was Letty or one of the others that were driving people batshit most of the time.

Brian is having second thoughts leaving. He's talking to CK saying it's bad here but it will be worse for him out there if he gives up. It sounds like he's going to stay. He keeps telling CK he will be trolled relentlessly if he quits now and that he refuses to go out this way.

Brian finally says he isn't quitting and confirms it to Jimmy. Idk if CK is staying, I missed that part of the convo.

meg just left, fishtank is unchaged.
This is the show on full Jet autopilot, when Sam is under control of departures there's always some funny dramatic way of handling it or he lets the character falter for a moment while sending them off. Jet's just being a sociopathic dumbass yet again, JET IT UP!!!!!!111

Well to be fair, all of the negativity from freeloaders was directed towards Letty to an absurd degree. Not a good representation of how things should be.

The only funny thing about it was that Jet said "Quitters don't say goodbyes". He's really fucking mad, that every single thing he tried to keep Meg in the tank didn't work. JC sure as hell didn't have that kind of "ceremony".
I know you're reading this, trannychaser. Better lube up.

Get ready to suck dick for cock on the streets, because you didn't bother to vet the contestants again, just like S1. The current batch is, for a few exceptions, not capable to be in this show and are burning out fast. If even coddling won't help, things are fucking dire. That crazy bitch that you've invited for 5 days in the tank was amazing, but it sure as fuck didn't last. To be fair, it's been prime content so far, but I'm sure that more fish will leave at New Years.

Well shit, I was really hoping Meg would stick it out and grow, she was coming out of her shell and doing well on the challenges. It's pretty bad that 3 women have left already, now we're down to only 2 women after a week. Tay was depressed when Summer and JC left, now she's probably going to be sad again.
Trisha is in her room crying. It wasn’t a bit for her?
I mean it could just be a combination of stress and being home sick. Being on the tank isn't easy.
