Remember when the base was calming down about the "right" for a woman to murder an inconvenient child, they had Graham waddle his literally faggy ass out there to give the "official" republican stance: "No, we actually mean the exact opposite of everything we've said about this and are absolutely coming to force you whores to be responsible, nation wide. Sorry I admittedly forget the exact phrasing but it was him basically claiming the GOP wanted a Nationwide Abortion ban, which was NOT the point of the challenge and destruction of RvW.

I think @Gehenna pointed this out. They do similar shit for Blacks, Latinos, Muslims, any time they see the plantation system is failing they trot out an "official" Republican to say something outside the overton window so they remain forever an extremist right wing viewpoint to the left's pet non-whites.

For another example: Ann Coulter. After 9/11 she came out with a wonderful idea: kill all the Muslims in the West and put their children in Christian Orphanages. Cost her her column at the time, but it made the official Uniparty stance look downright reasonable. To say nothing about her stint on the Bill Maher show pushing Trump when it was an absurd stance to take... but the Clinton party was literally paying people to do so.

Same reason the slap chop guy wore that stupid headset in his ads -- that's how someone would hawk Slap Chops at a county fair / store demo. The people the ads were targeting at would see that and relate with him.

Yup that one was me. Its standard Uniparty procedure, you have a stance that the base does not like and which stands at odds with the moderate center polling. So, without either major group supporting, they trot out one of their assets to say something reprehensible, driving the moderates towards the presented option while fracturing the base and ensuring no concentrated opposition can occur on the subject.

It has lost its effectiveness over time but still remains a viable tool. Thankfully in the modern era post-2020 where even the normies are beginning to clue in, it means they have burnt a lot of the assets they can use for it. Graham actually had broad appeal as a spokesperson of the 'right' for a while. Just enough name recognition to be well-known without being so overly-ambitious or with any serious flaws to make a negative impression. This was rather deliberately done, see him being accused of seeking gay escorts. That was 100% done to ensure his name gets out in a "ha ha hypocrisy" way that ensures he is well known without it being something bad enough to actually cause him damage. You can probably think of a few others who got similar treatment.....

Of course, his recent actions have rather soured that ability hence why he is trying to recover and regain that status. He is only useful to the uniparty if he can fulfill that role.

I have no idea myself but my dad (bless his soul) has done the same for years before Trump was a thing. He loves Trump too but doesn't know whether to laugh or be irked whenever it's pointed out.

Must be something Boomer related because it's funny as hell :story:

I went home to see family and saw a trailer, a rusted out trailer on an acre of land with an asking price of $295,000. Normal houses that I know are shit houses are going for $400,000. The owners probably bought them for $150,000 max, the trailer is probably worth whatever lint I have in my pocket.

The economy is just great. You will own nothing and be happy is coming into full force now. Somewhere, Soros cries tears of happiness as he tells Bill Gates to buy all of the land from under the serfs. Let’s fucking go Brandon and his uniparty puppet masters .

Thanks to Chauvin getting railroaded only the dumbest and most aggressive losers are applying to be cops now. Portland is so bad they waived both the literacy and high school diploma requirements.

It should scare the shit out of everyone that most police departments are staffed by actual literal retards now.
