maybe starting the show a week before the holidays was retarded, Jet
the christmas day in fishtank was better than every day of season 1 combined. The real weak link is the casting, these people even if they're Sam Hyde fans are too weak to handle the show. People don't seem to realize, we're not even a week in and we're already down to 7 people. Jet needs to make sure Brian doesn't leave either or else its 6 people. You're insane if you think watching 6 people, mostly dudes is going to make for an entertaining show. I don't know about the financials but i have a hard time believing they're making as much money as they did last time. But i'm sure they aren't in panic mode yet. This is just the usual sophmore slump.

As people said, Cole's the star. he has the asian sidekick. the love triangle with the arch nemesis brian and the whore Trish. Jimmy is the comic relief and Tay is the 2nd female, because you can't have just one woman on a show. JC is the Scruffy the janitor style fan favorite minor character. But overall if Brian vanishes the whole show is done. its like the mentalist after red john dies. the house will get boring.

Also Meg leaving is surprising. Tay hasn't really been part of the group for a few days now and seems mentally gone.

It's at a point where they might need to bring in a couple fresh fish.

Did anybody sit through fat Meg's little QnA she did before going robloxing? Tbh I thought she sucked and an interview with her is probably about as interesting as watching paint dry so I want somebody else to suffer through it.
Someone posted a few minutes of the audio a page or so back. She was a good sport about it but really didn't like how unprepared the crew was when it came to challenges. She said they just made it up on the spot and it was hard to play along because most of the time they fucked it up.

Which is actually more honest and insightful than any other post-Tank interview from any other Fish that I can remember. I guess the real "Hell" of the Hell House is watching Jet try to be funny.

Not sure why people are talking about the show being worse than last season. Fatty is on point breaking Trish's bed and riding her like an overzealous ex stripper, and I'm looking forward to another Jimmy sperg out. Must just be disappointment since the one cute (insane) girl already bounced alongside the other MDE fans who bit off more than they could chew.

After watching the final episode of season one and seeing what Josie and Letty were put through, I can't see a single one of these contestants lasting nearly as long. Ffs Cole started crying like a child after losing that one goofy competition before JC seppukooed herself to save him.

Letty still isn't taking up her destiny and starting an internet career yet. Hopefully she's working at some Canadian brothel right now.

People are right about the hellhouse aspect being non-existent now. Everyone can't even handle losing a challenge, actual hell would destroy them. Thats probably the biggest reason they aren't shoving them in one bedroom and fucking with them like last time yet. It would be a total party kill.

There've been virtually no downsides to losing the challenges. What's the point of them, if not content and losing?

It’s clear by now there’s a weak fish issue. People are willing to lie their way onto the show. Anything to meet their MDE favorites. Here’s my idea for fixing the problem. Keep in mind I wrote this for fun when the only thing to do was watch CK and Jimmy endlessly babble.

Member’s exclusive Fish Tank Hell Week.

If you’re not aware, the Navy Seals have a program to wash out all the wannabe tough guys. This is so both parties involved don’t waste each other’s time. The idea for the Tank is that you have a 3-5 day tryout period for 20-25 fish. During this period everyone must complete three challenges a day, there are sleeping bags in place of beds, and you’re not allowed to speak to other fish. Talking to staff is encouraged. Paying members of the website can watch. But it’s before the official launch of the show.

A portion will wash out naturally. Some of them just straight up hate the challenges. For the rest you create a point system. Any MDE references you lose points. Signs of weakness? That’s points lost. Skipping a challenge? You get the idea. By the end of it Five Men and Five Women are chosen based on a point system and overall behavior. Then, the day leading up to the official launch of the show, you air an edited version of the past few days. With interviews of the winning fish.

This is key: None of the losers of hell week are ever acknowledged by the show’s history. So, people like Meg don’t get their glorified fan meetup and undeserved attention. The remaining fish have proven they can hack it. It’s win-win.

thats a good idea, could be really fun to fit into a full metal jacket/military themed season. too bad jets a retard.

I'm just not feeling it for this season, to be honest. The only halfway interesting fish is Shinji, and only because he's Simmons without the baggage.

Some people are celebrating how the fish are fighting, messing with one another's stuff, and throwing poop around within the show's first week, but imo the strength of Season 1 was it's slow burn. Each fish was more or less developed by the end of week 1 and the house's vibe turned from awkward to just outright insane by show's finale. Jon slowly getting on everyone's nerves, Letty realizing the whole house is against her and deciding to fight back, Sylvia becoming more hysterical as TTS starts targetting her, etc. Then Frank and Chris came in at just the right time and opened the floodgates, the house became irreversibly toxic after that.

Compare Brian, CK, and Trish's little episode last night to when Damiel went off on Letty over his shoes. We haven't spent any real time getting to know Brian or Trish, there was no weeks worth of tension in the air, there's not enough sympathy or hatred on the audience's part for them to pick a side, etc. It's just a bunch of people we don't care about arguing, I don't need to pay a $60 Season Pass to see that. Whereas Damiel and Letty were at odds the moment they walked into the house, we saw them talk shit and scheme against one another, they then sort of teamed up at one point, and then boom, the shoes went missing and they both just let each other have it. It was actually exciting seeing it go down live.

We have arguably spent more time getting to know Brian than any of the season 1 fish, you are forgetting that they actually talk this time around, in fact they seem allergic to silence. What did we learn about Vance from his like 5? weeks in the tank? He likes to drum, he is dumb like a golden retriever and he has trouble being mean. Meanwhile we know everything there is to know about Brian, he has gone on and on and on and on about his history and his views and we now even have his ex gf in the tank. Damiel sucked ass because he was an actual plant, he constantly had production whispering in his ear telling him what gay shit to fake be upset about that day.
