To add more context, Jimmy has really been pushing that there's something wrong with that piece of wood. Before Ben tore him an asshole for it, he was really paranoid about it.

-When Jet initially gave him the wood, he asked Jet if it was hollow, and had any listening devices in it.

-Jet said it was from the rainforest, and Jimmy took this joke seriously.

-When Jet checked his progress, Jimmy began telling him about the metal in the wood. Jet was more bewildered than Ben, and said it wasn't.

-Jimmy then said it could have been a thin piece of "purple Heartwood" glued between two pieces of regular wood, keeps pushing on that.

-Jet said no. It's just balsa wood. He asked Jimmy if he really had the time to glue wood pieces together so perfectly.

-Jimmy was wishy-washy, but said Jet said it was from the rainforest.

-Jet points out that was a joke. Leaves.
