Never Back Down '24 / Ron DeSantis' Online Influencers / The DeSantoids - Florida Man Violates Federal Regulations to Hire Internet Retards, Nukes Own Career

At the end there is an issue to be fought here, but it isn't going to be won if we just have people relying on the normie train of thought that got us into this mess in the first place. You have to address the deeper issues of American identity in order to be able to seriously combat this kind of stuff.
I think a point to be made is how much normies view culture wars as a elected official's job. Youngkin is an outlier on that the Trans case had clearly to everyone become an issue that required government intervention. On something like Woke Disney, if you asked your average Republican voter what should be done on it, their mind probably wouldn't go to the Governor of Florida stepping in. Yeah, they'll support you on it, but when election time comes bureaucratic fucking with Disney taxable income until they make good movies isn't going to sway anyone compared to more traditional politician things. Probably more effective to just call them faggots twice a week.

"Principled conservative" is a dogwhistle for massive faggot
Well, at least those principles make it an easy call when a Democrat controlled court kicks your parties front runner and former President off the ballot on shaky legal grounds?

Wednesday December 19th 2023, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump's name be stricken from all ballots, primary and general. They invoked Section 3 of the 14th Amendment for the first time in American history. Originally intended for former Confederates and used on a guy neither indicted or convicted of insurrection, the court itself knows it probably won't hold up and won't enforce it with out the backing of the US Supreme Court. Let's look in on our principled, small government Republicans and watch them handle a developing situation over 48 hours.

Firstly, gloat and support the decision with no forethought to public opinion.

Some of them, at least, realized how unlikely this decision was to stand and focused in on the real danger. No, not that it had been attempted, or even that it might be used against them, but it would give Trump a boost before Iowa.
Lol.pngLmao.png
Others suggested this was part of the Democrats 5D strategy (Powered by MILITARY GRADE DECISION COMPUTERS) to boost Trump to the candidacy before pulling out the big guns. Because you know, they've been holding back on Trump for the last eight years and have been saving the good stuff.

This guy declared it a sign from God that the House of Trump will be cast down if he continues to oppose Rob, while insane person Chris Nelson wonders if it's because Trump will be one of the names unsealed from Epstein's book. Edit: Forgot to mention, keep an eye on how many DeSantiods invoke Christianity but forget God is a proper noun that should be capitalized even in pronoun form.

Soon the rest of the party would respond, The CO branch of the party obviously didn't appreciate being told who they can and can't vote for and threatened to scrap the ballots and reorganize as a caucus while fund raising to fight the decision. For crossing Meatball by not giving him an easy win, they are now corrupt enemies. Principled.
Co18.pngScreenshot 2023-12-21 at 12-56-30 (1) Max (@MaxNordau) _ X.png

Vivek.. however the hell you spell his name declared he would withdraw his name from the CO ballot. A pretty meaningless gesture as he wasn't going to come close and I think he just hangs around to dunk on other candidates at this point, but he called on everyone else to do the same. This forced the issue, and DeSantis would have to respond. Would he take this chance to demonstrate the national leadership he touts, whatever his decision may be?

Nah he fucking flubbed it. He went on Newsmax and said he would be playing into the left's hand if he didn't take the delegates before muttering something about it getting overturned anyway, getting lit up by nearly everyone for refusing to take a stand. One of the simplest softballs ever thrown a Republican and he watched it glide over the plate. NBD would clock in and start proclaiming the genius of the move, avoiding the Democrats carefully lain trap.
co13.pngco11.pngCO9.pngCo8.pngCO.png
A few had the brilliant strategy of telling voters if they wanted DeSantis to take a stand, he'll totally do it.. after they vote for him.
CO5.pngCO4.png

That didn't fly either. It had now been 18 hours and the campaign needed to put out a strong message to salvage anything from this. They picked 'We won't because Trump wouldn't do it for us.'
Co10.pngCo7.pngCO14.png
Oh, thanks for bringing up those Ethics Complaints, John. One is the current FEC violations, the previous was for DeSantis using a book tour as an unofficial campaign before declaring, which was so blatant it was reported as fact.

Ya know what, while we're here let's use AI to shit on working class conservatives as fat, dumb, trashy red necks. In case any of the Rust Belt voters Trump brought in forgot the old GOP feels insulted to have to associate with them.
Co16.png

Ron himself has given up even trying to lead, letting the inmates run the asylum. He's now explaining to meetings of twenty people that the whole thing is a Democratic conspiracy against him specifically.

I'm cool with that.

And I am a whole day behind. These people aren't taking Christmas off, are they?
Nah, they're spending the Christmas weekend gaslighting people about the secret Haley-Trump pact. Also free campaign tip from me, even if you're not wrong to go after Rodger Stone, try not to try draw attention to roasts like "He's actually a mutant with a severe personality disorder".

Missed opportunity (theme of the DeSantis campaign) to flat-out and truthfully call Stone a cuck.

100% unrelated to DeSantis but here is Wyatt's epic Nagatoro thread for the curious: https://archive.is/CxvWS (NSFW)

Not sure why "Wyatt" (if I recall, he was a The Right Stuff poster, so basically a White Nat of some kind) is supposed to have any special insight - his big recommendation was for Ron to go even more negative on Trump, which Team Ron had been doing for months. Spic Pedro was even literally mouthing J6 Committee talking points about "Trump knew he lost the election", etc. sounding little different than Liz Cheney. He may as well have just turned the J6 Committee report into a press release.

Basic rule of American politics: don't engage with Roger Stone unless he's working for you.
They never know when to pick their battles. My favorite was early on they decided to prop up Laura Loomer as the representative of the Trump campaign for easy points but underestimated how nuts she is. Now they have to respond to claims DeSantis killed his old chief of staff with the Mossad's heart attack gun.

Edit:
New article. About the same, most of it about NBD and the campaign being an organizational nightmare constantly at odds. Some new bits:
-NBD began with 25 to 50 million from Ken Griffin penciled in that never appeared.
- Spent millions on door knocking in far off primaries like Cali and North Carolina instead of the early states
-Strange contracts with companies connected to the campaign that no one seems to have authorized
-People were telling him to scrap the campaign two months before it officially kicked off when Trump was first indicted
-NBD was conceived the way it was because Ron had 80 million left over from his re-election campaign he couldn't legally give to a different campaign
-The board of NBD was just Ron's buddies, not pros. His Yale classmate was the go between for the NBD and the campaign.
-Ron doesn't trust experienced advisors over those he considers loyal
-Hilarious but outsourced, Trump hired all the consultants DeSantis dismissed, who know exactly what buttons to push to upset him
-Outside hires know it's over and describe their work as 'making the patient comfortable'

Tangent: Laura Loomer's "rise" is pretty hilarious but I am also bummed out at how much stock people like Baris put into her.

Her general trajectory reminds me a lot of CRP. People are raising complete buffoons into positions of importance because of partisan convenience.

Amazing considering DeSantis' disloyalty to Trump.

Oh great we have another jirard situation don't we? But with an autisticer retard that can't keep his bitch in line.
I'm not following that situation too closely, but I don't think it's that bad to count as pure fraud. Having money left over from a campaign, especially one that ended in a 20 point blow out, is pretty common. As is finding a way to reshuffle the money to somewhere useful. Ron's problem is he got too smart by half and tried to set up a bizarre quasi campaign ran by cut outs instead of just fund raising for his actual presidential campaign. Should have known something was up with the wife when she started dressing like Jackie O.
They are near superhuman in their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on the easiest of battles.
The Never Trump faction picked Nicky fucking Haley over him and she provided a better return on their investment already. Just insane how bad a fumble that is. I don't think Haley even intended to get support outside of her next job as a consultant.
Trump doesn't care enough about fighting back against transgenderism, IMO.
Most annoying part, imo. They do levy some valid criticisms against Trump I'd like see to addressed, particularly his hiring choices. But they've poisoned the well on those discussions by taking them to such extremes they're radioactive.

Fuck. I was really hoping DeSantis would clean trannies out of schools nationwide. Trump doesn't care enough about fighting back against transgenderism, IMO.

This whole thing really does hurt me.

I actually had high hopes in DeSantis.

Well, whether it's Trump or DeSantis, you can always count on conservatives (or in Trump's case, opponents of progressive leftism in general) to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

At this point, I can take cold comfort in the fact that if they both fail, there is a small, but non-zero chance, that someone wiser, less autistic, and less spastic than either of them will be a viable candidate.

Exactly >_< the only anti-troon thing he's said (that I'm aware of) is that he wants to put an age restriction on hormones.

Any candidate who gets closer to declaring TTD has my support. Or in the very least, I'll pay more attention to them.

Why don't you admit you only think the DeSantis campaign is going poorly for clicks on kiwi farms dot whatever-third-world-shithole-this-week?

I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas at Mar-a-Lago and got your signed Trump NFTs. This post Christmas chimp out is lashing out at anyone noticing RDS2024 isn't going well, especially normal Ron supporters. What kicked this off was a tweet from DeSantis supporter and BlazeTV personality Auron MacIntyre, who had been quote tweeted several times by NBD. Auron pointed out things had gone so poorly it was indistinguishable from sabotage.
Auron.png

NBD predictably turned on him as seen above. A few tried a less heavy handed approach. Auron was asked what evidence he had beside polls. Stating he was a Florida resident who is seeing Ron fans flip to Trump, NBD forgot he isn't a paid shill that works for them and started a cult like shaming session asking Auron why he didn't do more to 'correct' these wayward souls.
Hedoesntworkforyou.png
One noted that Auron clearly never supported DeSantis, as he had not tweeted about the biggest story of the primary, the DeSantis-Newsom debate.
Newsom.png

NBD would then call in their intellectual heavy weight, Paydro. A good sign your campaign fucked up is your go to media guy is Paydro. Paydro responded with his 'insider knowledge' that every conservative media operation in the country was controlled by Trump. His proof is the insanely brazen lie that no one knew about the guy who choked the insane homeless guy to death in NYC was until Ron called attention to it, and writing that story with out Ron is borderline Stalinist revisionism.
PaydroCope.png

David Marcus, who unlike Pedro actually got a job in the media and writes for Fox and The Daily Wire, stopped by to ask Pedro what the fuck he was talking about.
Marcus.png
In response to insinuations Tucker was bought off, David makes the reasonable argument that as a political journalist his job is to understand what the people want and why, not lecture them. NBD doubled down and declared it is in fact the media's job to protect idiot voters from themselves.
cope.png

But Stinson would put all these allegations of a poorly run campaign to rest with raw data. If was such a trashfire as claimed, explain how Ron would be running away with the nomination if Vivek dropped out and also the election was held in an alternate timeline where Trump didn't run. Check mate, MAGAdolians.
IfEveryOneDroppedOut.png

A former chairman of the IA GOP would weigh in to flex his political acumen, pointing out the polls don't account for the 2016 Rubio voters who are holding on to a man eight years later.
RubioVoters.png
And we have a surprise special appearance from a well known name on the farms. After a while of reply guying Pushaw, Ian Miles Choeng finally started getting the engagement from NBD.
Malaysian.pngIanMiles.png
Ian has a long history and his thread is linked above, but he's a Malaysian man. From Malaysia. Not to get into the political weeds, but Malaysia is a nation well known for not being America. Which Ian is a citizen of, not America, despite his efforts to pretend otherwise.

Edit: MacIntytre has made the shit list. Congratulations, Auron! May you enjoy spending the rest of the primary getting stalked by psychos in Tallahassee who will comb through your every tweet to prove your disloyalty to Ron and randomly berate you for not talking about every time he takes a leak!
AuronMadeIt.png

Edit: Morning update. Never Back Down, in between complaining conservative media doesn't cover them and refuting claims their online campaign is off putting, takes a victory lap over having alienated another ally in conservative media with their bullshit. Bravo.
Friendslikethese1.png
It's alright though, they can turn to their sock accounts to keep up the pressure and really drive that wedge in.
Sock.png

Why the fuck are they like this? They act like they're running away with the nomination and can afford to pick these fights, not down 40. It's like a cargo cult campaign, focusing on the superficial marks of a winning campaign with out grasping the metric that matters is votes. Why is this still going?

"Assuming most of Vivek's support goes to DeSantis.." why would they assume that, even in this lame hypothetical? I remember in 2016, the assumption from the media was that when JEB! dropped out, all of his voters would go to the next most establishment candidate, Rubio. Turns out Trump was the second choice of most Jeb voters (as unbelievable as that sounds). Can't make assumption in politics such as who support will 'go' to.
NBD doubled down and declared it is in fact the media's job to protect idiot voters from themselves.

I used to see this Calvin Freiburger guy on my timeline sometimes, he was one of these angry Trump complainers the entire time he was in office about how Trump wasn't doing this or that impossible political task quickly enough for him.
