Everyone's comparing Nick to Ralph, but he reminds me more of Lowtax every day, especially if the divorce arc comes to be. Ralph never really had any chance in life: he stumbled into massive success and reacted to it exactly like a ghetto rich wigger would.
Nick, meanwhile, has been coddled all his life with his family wiping his arse for him and cleaning up his messses, just like Mama Lowtax, and he has completely fucked up an easy earner because he is too stubborn to listen to good advice because he is lazy and thinks he knows best, just like Rich. The only thing that remains to be seen is, if Our Wife successfully divorce rapes him, will he take the Lowtax way out deliberately or simply carry on his prolonged suicide by alcohol.
(I guess one thing I can see being different is I feel like Nick's family would be on the side of Our Wife and the kids, because they can symapthise with what a perennial fuck up Nick is.)
