This is the look of a pony that is done with this shit.

Long COVID/Zero COVID tards are definitely cows on their own. Thinking about trying my hand on an OP if work is slow and if I have enough spoons for the emotional labor of lurking among the most histrionic people on the internet. Yay or nay? Or is there such a thread already and I missed it? Pic for reference.

The zero covid people are my favorite. Installing fans upon fans in their homes and sequestering themselves to a closet because someone in the house dared to go to the store.

I'm of the belief that covid is fairly dangerous and there's nothing really wrong with protecting yourself (I'm not interested in even getting a mild cold, personally), but these people live in some alternate reality where even opening the mailbox means they're melting down in a 98 part thread on Twitter about exposure and possible death. how is that anyway to live?

Is she even a cow? Her mom needed killing.
She and Venus were both parented by abusive nutcases who used them for profit. They both grew up enjoying huge amounts of attention from a fawning public. Both girls came out of confinement hailed as champions over adversity. Both manipulated men to ‘save’ them. Neither had any education or exposure to life outside their abusive enmeshed mom-controlled bubble. Both are midwits at best.

This is gonna be a SHITSHOW. The only difference I can see is that Gypsy had gumption.

yes...
Give me rainbows, but I genuinely hope Gypsy Rose does well for herself.
Also yes...

I really hope she does well for herself but I'm not sure after watching Venus... But, going from special needs perma-child to prison is a pretty intense transition so maybe she can handle it. Prison does provide some level of mental health services, she has her father's support (the last documentary I saw on Gypsy Rose was made in 2018 so this could have changed), and she might also have some residuals from various documentaries and TV shows using her story. Being infamous has its perks; if Casey Anthony was able to find a pay pig to help her reintegrate into the world, so can Gypsy Rose. She has already scored a prison husband. She is better off than Venus so I'm really hoping she makes it. I also hope she writes a book.

It helps that she's easy to sympathize with. If my mom locked me in a pink disney princess dungeon and spoke to me in a sing-songy cajun accent, I would lose my shit too.

I have more optimism for Gypsy than I would otherwise because it sounds like her going to jail may actually do what it's supposed to do and help with reintegration into society.

It has been a long time but I remember watching an interview with her that was done after she went to prison and she said that she was getting to learn how to do cosmetology, something so basic, yet she was never really allowed to do for herself. I think she said she was learning to braid hair specifically (remember, her mom kept her head shaved). She also looked so much healthier. Really makes you think.

No MBP kid will ever be truly "normal" even if their case wasn't as severe by whatever metric we grade MBP...but this is one of the most egregious cases of it on the books. Don't get me wrong, I do think the fact she successfully carried out a murder and (possibly subconsciously) groomed a literal retard into helping her with it unsettling, but not many people are gonna fight with her about it being justified. Someone might point and say "but that wasn't the only option!!1!!" and that might be true, but you need to consider that it may have seemed to be the only one from her perspective; she tried to escape at least once.

So few people in human history can relate to the life she led. I guess we could use this as an example of what regular people are capable of if we are truly desperate.

I think I stumbled on the page of a small-time munchie that hasnt been posted, I dont want to post her publicly in case she DFEs, would I do a write-up on her myself or should I just send a link to someone in the DMs? She claims MALS (actually multiple types of vascular compression as well), has had a feeding tube for years, and recently had sepsis. She only has a tiktok account from what I can tell, there are similarly named private accounts on IG but I can't really tell if they're hers or not. I've never done the research for this kind of thing so it would probably be better in someone else's hands tbh.

Big time thank you for not just naming her here and blowing your/someone else's cover as regards archiving them. I see someone has been closely reading the thread lol.

I don't do many writeups myself so I'll step back initially and see if any of the experts here wanna jump in, but if you get no takers then I'd be happy to collaborate with you on her writeup, if she truly is a goer...

As regards Gypsy; yeah, she will probably be a cow. But give the poor woman a chance to find her feet and get to grips with life on the outside before you start bulk-ordering popcorn. A few of you seem utterly desperate for her to fuck up already, and that's pretty... Rapacious, innit?

What in the fuck is "hyperPOTS"?

Jesus, these people are unbearable.

Diagnostically, it’s pots with an excess adrenaline component. It’s either a catecholamine draw, during and after a tilt test or 24 hour urine measurement. In hyperpots, the adrenaline is responsible for the problems. It’s symptoms are different than regular pots as the excess adrenaline causes high blood pressure, sweating, etc.

It’s a rarer subtype. It mimics the symptoms of pheocromacytoma.

ETA: it represents only about 10 percent of pots patients and electrolyte panel and thyroid panel must come back normal before a catecholamine blood draw needs to be considered. Stress test and 30 day holter also need to be done. Someone who is not obese, doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, doesn’t have a hx of hypertension suddenly getting stroke level high blood pressure, complaining of frequent palpitations and experiencing hyperhidrosis levels of sweating when they never have before, in the absence of any common medical condition should be considered, but only after the aforementioned ruling out of the basic stuff.

Nausea is also another symptom, but typically from overheating when normally peoole would not. Eg: it’s 70 f outside and after 10 minutes of movement, they start sweating profusely

I've never done a write-up but I'd happy to be part of the process with a more experienced person.

One of the few murderers I'm glad to see released. Everything about her life was absolutely fucked before, killing her mom was unironically the best thing that ever happened to her.
I believe Gypsy Rose herself has said more or less the same thing, specifically about going to prison.

Some jurisdictions have specific life skills and reintegration support for inmates who are about to be released after a medium- to long-term prison sentence. I'm hopeful that she had access to at least some kind of basic preparation prior to being given a bus ticket and turned loose, but who knows.

She's going to need a ton of support resources, not merely because she's been in prison for a decade but because she has literally never done anything for herself outside of an institution. Can she scramble an egg or boil pasta? Does she know how to pay a utility bill? Has she ever done a load of laundry? Fuck, has she ever even had a library card? Ordered a pizza? Sure, some of these things could be addressed as abstract concepts in prison, but they're all the kind of things that you don't really learn until you have had at least a tiny bit of exposure to the world.

Poor woman has a tough road ahead of her.
