Honestly the more of the retarded, superstitious and nonsensical bullshit I read in the "Old Testament" the more I think Marcion of Sinope was right. The sheer amount of mental gymnastics needed to defend and explain away that bunch of primitive tribal nonsense must be extremely tiring now that anyone and everyone can read it for themselves.

Just disregard it all and keep everything from Jesus onward.
 
Jesus never commented on abortion. The Bible says that someone who accidentally kills a woman (example: two men fighting) gets sentenced to death but someone who makes a woman miscarry only has to pay the father a fine. This tells you that they definitely understood the difference between a person and a fetus.
