Well, it's still not as bad as some of the shit on Reddit. But still, did anyone actually pointed out the handful of alternatives against ruining his spine or did they all applaud him like they usually do?

This person is an asshole. They have their backpack on their back on crowded public transportation because it inconveniences them to put it on the floor and pick it up when they need to leave the transportation.
Then they bitch about the hundreds of people they inconvenience every year because they are entitled to that extra space somehow.
Basically they're a two-seat lard ass on a plane flight. Except unlike two-seater they can stop being one for the duration of the trip with minimal effort and are choosing not to every time they lug their compensation pack out.

Over on Pundit's site, Alexander Macris (who pops in to comment now and then) made an interesting remark.

Via The Escapist, I had been a sponsor of RPG.net for many years and had been on good terms with its owner.

I've commented before that I wondered who might be bankrolling Dyvers Hands/RPGnet. If the Escapist was doing it, that might explain a lot.

It also means RPGnet and Dyvers Hands are now fucked since the Escapist lost its biggest asset (Yahtzee).

I don't think The Escapist was ever profitable enough to be bankrolling much of anything. It's not even clear how they paid the bills they had... And probably weren't, given that they basically shut down their own video hosting and moved exclusively to Youtube.

Well on 4chan I'd assume he's some kind of prepper who carries a bugout bag everywhere but on RPGnet I'll just assume it's full of Funko Pops, Bad Dragon dildos, energy drinks, a fursuit, and a laptop full of CP.

All that reminds me of the greatest display of chutzpah I ever witnessed. I once read an opinion article in what I swear was the New York Times (although I can't find it in their archive, so either it was scrubbed or I am mistaken about its source) defending the actions of Caiaphas, the Jewish high priest who sentenced our Lord to death. Either way, one has to admire the irony of establishing an ethnically pure Jewish thread in the middle of hostile territory.

Eh, the English language is full of misnomers, transposed meanings, and general silliness. Pedantry on that front is the lowest form of argument. One can't base a political ideology on um ackshuallies. Well, one can, that's basically the ideology of neoliberalism, but one shouldn't.

Also "the Hunger and the Dusk" is a good book, also it's not about herdsmen and farmers living at odds... It's literally humans vs orcs, with the orcs being on the side that's getting hit by the ancient enemy, the humans and the orcs well one group of orcs come together to pledge to help each other thru this as it's clear alone they will both be over run.

So it's a story of two peoples hostile to each other coming together to defeat an outside threat.

Gosh can't figure out at all why a jew wouldn't like that story.

There's something I want to bring up: the perma-Pride logo.

I brought it up in another thread. I noticed a lot of places are doing this now. They put their Pride flag up in June, and then just never take it down. Ever. It's Pride Year.

So far I've seen it in a few places:

• The rpg.net forums
• The gzDoom Discord
• The Chronicles of Darkness Discord
• various other places that I can't recall

Something about this trend seems... off. It's more than just wokesterism. It's... it's like they're claiming a zone online to no longer be about the topic it once was, but now just about wokeshit, exclusively. I don't know. Something about it sets me off.

Have any of you noticed this as well?
