Debate User @Android Raptor If the bible supports abortion

You are more insidious than a 2000's fundie and you are making me feel like a 2000's fedora skeptic. Do it again, and I will curse you with my dewritos powers

Why do you treat religious people as a single monolithic block but each homosexual as diverse and unique?
Because a lot of religions explicitly include pedophilia as part of their belief system. Like all the ones forcing children to get married.

Religions also have a lot more power and have for a lot longer than gay people.

Um ackshually the Bible supports everything your average Joe Biden voter supports. Conveniently and very coincidentally, every single church and every single Christian writer up until I was born and developed the most basic bitch of political beliefs was wrong. Christianity only got it right once it agreed with my set of values as of 2023.

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Because 'we' TM are a monolithic stone that just wants to destroy all gay people, I guess, idk

Cults do.

Cult-like homosexual and progressive organizations exist too; cultural enclaves can be cult-like as well. Progressive academia can be cult-like; tranny Discord servers can be cult-like; queer neighborhoods and family units can be cult-like.

Religions also have a lot more power and have for a lot longer than gay people.
Who holds more power right now? In the progressive social sphere, gays do. If you despise religious individuals who turn a blind eye to sin within their own organization and only find fault in others, don't follow their example, set your own. Attack the serpents within your own nest before beating people over the head for not attacking the serpents in theirs.

I sure as fuck wouldn't

Children have also been killed from being forced to give birth.

The age of consent was 14 in my state til the 90s. That doesn't make 14 year-olds not children, it means traditionally pedophilia has been normalized and seen as ok.
Traditionally people die, a lot. In the frontier days wives were often 14 years old because children would often die within months. This was a pragmatic solution to keep the population a net positive, not to encourage molestation.

This isn't a buried factoid that pedos use to justify anything, I was taught this in public school.

Faggots were raping kids in the stone age and atheism has been on a murderous tear for the last few hundred years. You just see it differently because television told you gay people = high status, Christians = low status.
Atheism and queer theory both explicitly include pedophilia as part of their belief system.

I see it differently because I live in the Bible belt and know way too many people who were raised by fundie parents and in churches that meet the definition of a cult.
You mean the nigger belt?

Weird, a lot of my friends who were raised by fundie parents are white. Most actually.
Cool story.

Maybe use some of that "empathy" that progs are known for and consider that other parts of the world aren't controlled by evangelicals.

Again, clear out your nest before paying attention to the nests of others.
My nest isn't the one trying to force 10 year-olds to give birth and fighting attempts to ban child marriage

Try looking at statistics for once in your life. Abortion as a result of rape is extremely uncommon, about 1% of abortions. The instances you have cited are rare exceptions to the rule and more often than not are protected by state law anyway.

The "child marriage" laws you cite are found in states run by and the laws are protected by both parties, along with VERY harsh regulation.

Minimum age in 50 states:

Recently, several states have revisited the legality of child marriage. Since 2017, Connecticut,[18] Texas,[19] Florida,[20] Kentucky,[21] Arizona,[22] Delaware,[23] Tennessee,[24] New Jersey,[25] Missouri,[26] and Ohio[27] have changed their law to set or raise their minimum legal age for marriage.

Then you're just being myopic. There are plenty of cults in the US that make fundamentalist Christianity look like a wholesome book club. One even hangs its own flag from the White House. Christians hold no power in the country.

Weird, you'd think there wouldn't be abortion bans in like half the US and mandatory comprehensive sex ed for all students if that was the case.

And its mainly the GOP fighting attempts to ban it

If abortions due to rape are too rare to count in arguments about abortion, should 3rd trimester abortions

I'm never going to see a president hold a Book of Mormon or hell, go to church without cameras trailing him in my lifetime. Gays are fucking spoiled.

Really? Is that why Hawaii and Kansas, both run by Democrats, have yet to change their policies from allowing 15 year olds to marry?

In the meantime, red states like Texas, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio have raised their age requirements.
