It feels like Nick deserved the lolcow of the year this year. A strong beginning, middle and end with a lot of memorable moments.

But at the same time it feels like he can give an all-timer performance next year. He is probably going to get fucked by Monty and losing his Rumble contract seems likely at this point in time. The Goblin returning to her cave with their kids doesn't seem impossible with how even his audience recognizing that the man who didn't remove his ring for years was on streaming without it for a few streams in December. Hugging a tree with his Balldomobile is always on the table. Another Jamaica vacation wouldn't surprise me either.

I don't know, 2023 Rekieta deserved the award in my eyes but 2024 Rekieta might make this year look tame.

These are the 2 things I am watching closely. He is not taking the Montysuit seriously. From the looks of things, neither does Randazza which feels like we might get a Ty Beard finish.

Initially, I wouldn't have been surprised if he got reupped on Rumble. The fact his lazy ass has to do leg work and contact them does not sound good. Assumed Rumble was a bit normie not paying attention to his live antics . Appears they noticed his dwindling numbers and donors. Can't imagine him getting a raise but shrinking to 5 digits from his prior alleged 6 digit payout.

one never takes responsibility for his own happiness and dies regretting his entire life
I thought American Beauty ended with Kevin Spacey’s narration ghost coping about how he’s actually fine with how everything played out and wishes everyone involved a million billion dollars.

(Disclaimer: I have never watched the movie and am basing this off of the review you posted)

Guaranteed: my money is on either a DUI arc or a divorce/separation arc. With how much he drinks, I feel like he’s always over .08 even during the day. Only a matter of time until an alog calls the cops on him when he’s just driving.

And realistically, who could Nick hold up as a shining example of a Lawtuber that he launched to new heights?

- Emily Baker did her own thing and hasn't been associated since Rittenhouse
- Viva Frei similarly established his own niche and similarly hasn't been seen since Kyle. It's arguable that Viva made Nick with his Rittenhouse tweet later boosted by Jack Posobiec that made Nick's trialstreaming explode
- Uncivil Law is reapplying for lawyer jobs
- Good Lawgic hustles every night but isn't particularly relevant or growing
- Runkle of the Bailey has carved out his small livestreaming niche of an interesting blend of Canadian gun nuts and foreigners liking wholesome content
- LegalBytes apparently still does okay but no one gives a shit
- Law&Lumber did okay on the Maya coverage, but is more of an Alyte creation
- have no idea what Nate the Lawyer is up to.
- Legal Vices grew a moderately successful channel from nothing. But still works a day job. And put in a lot of work on his own, curating his own audience with unique content like reviewing maritime disasters, watching the old OJ trial, doing Friday drinking streams after Nick rebranded, etc.

In some respects, other than Legal Vices, Potentially Criminal is probably the best example of Nick's halo effect 2.0 after Rittenhouse.

Sean has acted as a refugee camp for disaffected Nick fans. But even then, his channel only has 17-18k subs, even with Nick's "boost". And Sean hustles himself, streaming trials, consistent Thursday night shows covering actual legal stuff, twice weekly exclusive Locals content.

And even with Sean, he still came back on stream as an Internet friend when Nick was at his worst and was burning all the bridges.

I suspect that the subject of Nick’s loyalty rant was either:

-Sean, for his farms enjoyment, absorbing Nick’s former audience + discord members, and acquiring his lost cool factor. Can’t have the lolcow on now…

-Legal Mindset. We haven’t heard a peep from Asia’s Peter Pan since the final Faran debacle. Anyone still watch him?

-Maybe someone from FlashCast?

I don’t think any of the others really matter to Nick. Funnily, the only group that will care about his loyalty speech will be the e-thot/clout chasers whom Nick doesn’t really care about anyway, other than being stuffed-animal space fillers for him at his degenerate tea party—which will likely only further irritate him.

Legal Vices is just creepy, painfully boring Jeff, and is tolerated as much as the other clout chasers, aside from a handful of boomers and older wine moms who seem to still like him.

Good Lawgic, to his own credit, draws a respectable 1-2k live YT viewers nightly, absorbing Nick’s former viewers who want a more wholesome experience. He’s still generous with Nick though, so it can’t be him.

Speaking of Faran, isn’t Nick’s loyalty speech reminiscent of this:

Side note: for a mental, out-of-touch clout goblin, whom everyone wished would just go away, her serpentine senses were dead-on about Nick’s similarly distorted sense of loyalty. He always played it off as not caring and being against loyalty tests, but this bitch saw past that veneer, and always licked his butthole with her platitudes, such that if Divinity (clipper) hadn’t held Faran’s saggy tits to the fire and exposed her as a deranged backstabbing fraud, she’d still be around super-chatting her way on to his stream nightly.

Even though I voted for Patrick, as I personally find his antics funnier than Rekieta’s, I don’t think I’ll be upset if he wins.

Admittedly, I think a lot of Rekieta votes are just spite votes because they want him to get Lolcow of the Year and freak out because of it. That being said Rekieta has a lot going for him on his lolcow merits, so it’s not like a Keffals situation where Keffals robbed my nigga the Ralphamale out of his well deserved title simply because of the #DropKiwiFarms shit.

Andrew is doing fine. Blew past 100k. Maintains pretty high energy with streams every 2 or so days. Hammering in the Disney lawsuits plus Trump side stuff.
Set to do pretty well with the topics that helped Nick blow up in 2020.

I don’t like the idea of someone being lolcow of the year twice in a row and I think it’s a lot more likely that 2024 is going to be Nick’s year. He’s talking shit about his wife, his alcoholism is clearly getting out of control, and he’s starting to build up a detractor community. Only a matter of time until the wife leaves him with the kids and he’s roommates with Drexel.
You don't have to worry about that. Next year Nick will be a contender for Out To Pasture.

As long as it isn't BMJ I'm happy.

Based on my recollection, around the September-October timeline speculation was that 'if they were intelligent', Rumble would drop Nick. By the end of October, Nick started more of an attempt to be consistwnt and it had shifted to 'they will renew but at a lower rate.

I am extremely interested now given that he does not plan to negotiate until he can fly out to Florida until FEBRUARY. Will they have any money left to offer him a contract after signing other people to start in January?

He even wants to make changes to the contract, so I do not see it commencing until March.

With the Monty suit dragging on, can he afford 2-3 months of no contract followed by a possible reduction? He has not seemed to have put anything much away with his extravagant spending habits.

If i can play Balldo's advocate for a little bit. Here is how i will defend Nick's love of American Beauty.

AB can be seen as a human version of Call of the Wild. Think about Kevin Spacey's character, a stereotypical dad, going through the motions of life, when a sudden firing leads him to decide to go off the usual path and chose his own way. Like The Matrix without the science fiction part, he does what he wants and listens to that little voice in his head and gives in to his intrusive thoughts. Taking him on an entirely different lifepath. Even if it ends with his death he died on his own terms, going out a feral creature instead of a sad sack of shit divorced and living in an apartment until his heart gives out. As a libertarian it would make sense to enjoy a film about someone forgoing the usual route of life in order to live life to the fullest and not regretting it leading to a logical conclusion. So many films take the easy way out, especially for the protagonist that letting one die and be completely fine with it is sort of groundbreaking in a way. You rarely see someone fail in films, the movies involving drugs always seem to have the main character go clean or turn over a new leaf and rarely do they die like the scum they truely are. Much like the dog in Call of the Wild, Lester took a more dangerous route in life that surely hastened his death but at least he died doing what he loved instead of in service of a wife and kid that don't like him and actively were cheating on him using him as a resource sponge, regardless of if he fucked the virgin or not he'd still have died but by choosing not to it reinforced the point, he's literally doing what he wants, he's so independent that even his own balls won't tell him what to do. Even in death he accepted it in a way he wouldn't of if he was still at his office job. A truely independent man

Obviously we don't know if Kayla cheated on Nick but that would probably lead to a bit more understanding of why Nick identifies with the film so much and willing to go with those intrusive thoughts. But it does sort of follow the film scarily close if you consider being a youtuber on par with working a fast food job. The soul sucking job doesn't go well so the husband goes into a more childish profession and starts embracing some vices and it works out scarily well for him and he even discovers his wife cheating and that some women out there wouldn't mind fucking him. Of course if you already feel your wife and kids actively hate you and you're fucked if you try to leave your life you probably would be trying to hasten your own death if that was the only way out of it too. Most of this defense does rely on the idea that his brain broke after finding out Kayla cheated on him and that was his worst day and why he seemed to jump into degeneracy so happily. If we're being honest the Shining seems more relatable to Nick Rekieta than American Beauty at this point

TL;DR: Lester and Nick are just embracing a Bronze Age Mindset and you're scum to belittle them for doing so

So @elb posted a clip of Nick talking about Rumbles inflated numbers.
Which triggered another thought I should have included in my previous post about this.
Nick has to say they aren't inflated. He has to go along with the official Rumble statement. He's under contract with them and his contract is up for renewal. Of course he's going to say "no goy, the numbers are completely true and honest."
