Ukrainian armed forces were shipped to the UK under the cover of COVID to (I believe) receive training at some of the smaller 'abandoned' army bases.

In Spring and Summer 2022 I noticed that a group of fighting-age Eastern-European looking men, all with army buzzcuts and army physique, appeared almost overnight in my town. More and more of them appeared as the months went on, appearing only in the 24/7 supermarket - the largest in the area.

Their appearance coincided with an increase of military movements, including some military equipment being seen for the first time in certain areas near me, and the uptick in american military transport planes flying over-head.

This tracks with what I mentioned before - NATO soldiers have been fighting actively in Ukraine. Specifically, those using some of the NATO tech - rather than train Ukrainians to use them, it seems like the UK simply dressed British soldiers up as Ukrainians.

The guys in charge of the SAS built their careers on spying on, murdering and shooting their own citizens in Northern Ireland. And they failed at their main objective, and got a lower K than the fucking IRA. In a logical world, you're correct - but you have to remember that a solid chunk of the UK's "elite forces" would literally be in prison if not for their officers gently intervening and destroying evidence for them.

That said, [Secret Group of Glowies who really like to keep their name secret] are the most likely for it - undercover glowie operations in situations, exactly like this, are what that group is for. They're skilled operators, but they're nothing NatSec related. SAS are essentially, T1 soldiers - advanced soldiering skills, and very little else. SBS is the same vibe.

So far it's entirely people in my personal life but it's great that the thread already exists! I think I saw it beforehand, where it had the Captain Price shit.

I don't know individual figures very well, but there's a few things about UK Special Forces which are both badass and fucking revolting.

1) While the SAS is usually considered the first Special Force group, it isn't. There are two, both from WWII, with different aims. The SAS are for behind the enemy lines, while the other, the Auxiliaries, were there for domestic security. Think, MI5 and MI6 or FBI and CIA. The Auxiliaries were the only group which were more hardcore than the SAS, and were undercover across Southern England incase of a successful German invasion - their job is, essentially, professional terrorism for an extended period of time.

2) Similar glowies were active in Northern Ireland - to absolutely no effect, and basically proved how much of a paper tiger they were. They were very competent, but got the reputation as "Pint of Guinnessers" because of their infamously ineffective ways of blending in with Irishmen and numerous incidents of straight up murdering civilians, and dogs, out of sheer frustration. This is because a former SBS officer was head of the IRA's internal security and knew exactly how to counter them.

Any faith that your government will not completely poz and fuck over the SAS is completely misplaced.
