You can really tell that he's spent a huge amount of time trying to get these poses down, but then he sticks in those poses too long not realizing how unnatural it starts to look.

Usually politicians are a lot more sociable so this sort of thing doesn't happen, so I'm suspecting with DeSantis he got a bit weird having gotten into office in 2019 only for a year later to have all the lockdowns start up. Gave him an excuse to become more reclusive from the media and only be surrounded by yes men so didn't have to get used to being affable with those on the fence.

Late, I know... But I'm in Thailand at the moment, and American English is the lingua franca for anyone who is a tourist. I'm watching people from around the world speaking (bad) English with an American accent so they can be understood.

It always comes back to how I very much wish Trump was a fraction of the unhinged beast they make him out to be.

I'm generally interested in sifting through the REEE for the genuine complaints/support toward January 6th on X. Like it or not, X is still a great source to obtain general sentiment information on a topic.
