It’s hardly a secret that “sexual assault” is basically meaningless today.
It went from meaning “omg! Rape!” to groping, to basically in any way make someone “uncomfortable”.
Whether looking (le male gaze), accidentally brushing up against someone, a bad joke etc.
Hence it’s a perfect weapon to get rid of someone, especially if they’re an awkward nerd.
The reason for abandoning "rape" as a general term isn't pure wokeshit. It's becuase "rape" carried a bunch of common law baggage with archaic definitions that don't really cover the kind of conduct that is today proscribed. It used to be that the elements of the crime of rape included that the victim have been previously chaste, as well as having physically resisted (even if that would have just gotten them killed).
It was essentially a sort of property crime where the real victim was the father who now had an unmarriageable daughter.
So "sexual assault" is generally just sexual acts committed without consent, and it's fairly recent that some form of affirmative consent is required. Even though "consent to have sex forms signed in triplicate" or even "yes I want to have sex" spoken verbally is not a legal requirement, some form of indication of consent is necessary.
A major problem is people don't actually act this way in reality.
A good rule of thums is if you're going to do something sexual to someone, know them damn well first or you're gambling. And take the warning signs you're dealing with a lunatic seriously. They often involve things like unnatural hair colors.
I remember thinking Donglegate was retarded. Oh what a simpler time it was.
That was pure retardation. And what we have now is even worse.
And again, a rule of thumb is if you're in an elevator, anyone in it with you is trapped until it gets where it's going, and there's a button to stop it. Be on your best behavior. Stuff you might do that would be okay in an open environment, where people could just walk away if they don't like it, can freak people out.
Like don't fart for instance. (And if you do look accusingly at the guy next to you and back away from him.)
