Exoe aka notRiifu uploaded her audition trailer for her long planned coomer vtuber agency VAllure (not the best name, there is already another Vallure agency). She plans to debut six vtuber in June

She also streamed and talked about it in detail a few days ago. She has a team of 7 people (most of them full-time according to the website), looks for more editor and clippers but plans with these cuts. I don't know if that will work out.

Like people really think that Marine's voice actor comes in and does her mo-capped dance moves when normally she can barely stay upright for more than a few seconds of exercise. Theres even people who really think they sing live while dancing, even though thats impossible for even the most athletic of pop stars. It always boggles my mind. Marine intentionally plays up her poor condition for comedic purposes (as she's older than a bunch of the girls). Enough different holos have talked about dance practice over the years that it's a sure bet they do dance.

It's all but confirmed that Yuri was taking the gypsy approach to giving Fishman his agreed upon cut of the earnings, so it's a pretty safe bet.

Yuri was apparently skimming off the top and not paying Fishman his cut of the profits, and when she reappeared after getting fired, she used either a paypal or streamelements that she used to avoid paying the fish, or something along those lines. It's been a while, and I don't intend to go back to TVA to find out exactly what it was.

Man I hope not. I liked Yuri and I don't want the memory of her tainted like that. Her departure sucked enough as it was.

This is pretty well up there with "you know they're just men with voice changers" in terms of how often I see it tossed around when pretty simple observation tells otherwise.

It's no secret that a lot of things are pre-recorded, the talents themselves talk about it, A couple of the girls specifically do tend to do things live when possible, but a lot of large events like holofes it's just logistically required that they pre-record it in parts because you can't be hotswapping people in and out of mocap suits like that that quickly all day. The dancing part though it's pretty clear that there are differences in skill levels between different girls, even during the same choreo. There's enough stuff out there of Bae and Kiara talking about working out choreo to know what they're up to with their dancing. and you're pretty much just not gonna ever convince me that they are hiring a session dancer for Mori when she does shit like this.


Like it's even a meme among JP fans that Calli popping off like a goofball anytime there's a break in the choreo is the proof of authenticity of a performance. In reality 99% of the stuff the girls do for their dancing is pretty simplistic stuff and not particularly athletic outside of members like Bae with a background in dancing. Even if one wants to be cynical just watching a lot of it it's just easier to believe "they took some simple lessons to do their simple dances" than it is to try and justify it as "Cover hired professional dancers to stage a performance of extremely simplistic idol dance moves where skill differences are noticeable and in line with talents portrayed skill level (like you'll see Mori make a mistake more often than Bae the dancer of EN) , mistakes are made. Like it starts to take more work to fabricate with these natural difference than it does to just teach the girls the basic ass steps they primarily do on stage. And that's before even getting into the fact that 80% of the company also starts slowing down on streaming leading up to events like holofes, which if they aren't spending that time to practice their performances and dances than one would have to believe they are just streaming less, and therefore making less money as a company, just to try and sell the already unlikely scenario where they aren't the ones dancing.

Like I get it I tend to be a cynical bastard myself but at a point it just becomes illogical.
On another note It seems like Calli finally worked through Universal Music's autism to let her contribute personally to the funding for an animated MV, she's tried to do that in the past because normally with her label deal her MV's just got a set budget from Universal, and she was not allowed to pay more herself if she wanted something like Marine's animated MVs and stuff (which was also part of why she'd just animate MVs herself to work around that budget constraint) And it would seem she's deciding to go big with whatever it is upcoming (February or March she said she'd be able to actually give info on whatever big thing she has coming) as she is now saying that the MV she's working on is "probably the most expensive MV that has been made in this company" and will be doing streams drawing doodles in exchange for superchats to offset the money she herself will be putting in.

Half an hour from now Trexie is painting Warhammer figures. I know how much some of you guys like watching girls get into 40k.
Our favorite goth gf is returning. Speaking of Shiori, since Comdost started showing up in Pippa's chat I've been hearing that he and Eileen screwed Shiori over back in her Moe days but never what exactly went down. Does anyone know the specifics?

Only thing I know of is that she parted ways with Eileen over "management disagreements", Comdost was her editor at that time. her manager back at that time was simply referred to as "C" and might have been Comdost themselves.

Eileen is a weird figure in the vtuber world having hands in a lot of random shit from Mirai Akari to a full fledged porn vtuber agency H.Live which is everything that people like to meme about Vshojo being in regards to lewd content which at one point attempted to but failed to launch an EN branch

Eileen herself had a bit of an odd way of handling starting up vtubers, like Imagine if you will that if starting out Sora didn't have her own channel, and instead had to share a channel with Yagoo (as in Yagoo was uploading his own videos to the channel and Sora just used it), and only some time later would Yagoo instead turn the channel over to Sora. that's what Eileen generally did with both Akari and with Natsume Moe. If you look at Moe's original channel and look at the oldest videos on it, it's all Eileen's old stuff.

Given Moe's pivot in content after moving to her new channel (Raven Manor) where she stopped her ASMR type uploads and patreon photosets which were regularly sold while she was with Eileen, it seems like she just might have had a difference in opinion on what kind of content she wanted to work toward especially in contrast with at the time Eileen veering into the porn-tuber direction with projects like H.Live and even going so far as to make that new channel Raven Manor to further separate herself from her old content despite the massive disparity in subscribers she managed to gain on the new channel. At some point citing health issues and "numerous failed projects" (possibly the failed launch of H.Live EN being among them) Eileen ended up going on hiatus for a couple years until she cropped back up again late in 2023 Even attempting to get back in contact with Shiori via her old Natsumi Moe twitter handle trying to get access to the old Natsumi Moe youtube channel to resume uploading content to it herself likely wanting access to the channel as it has over 400k subscribers.

I am beyond impressed with the overhaul they did to Cyberpunk. It ain't the perfect game many were hoping for still but I'm glad they didn't give up on it. I hope Rie has as much fun being a gonk in it as I do. She also released a cover of that one song from the game that people only know from Edgerunners and you can now awkwardly dance to it with your romance choice in the game.
