Isn't this exactly what Taylor wanted from the beginning?
I dunno about the beginning but definitely she was sandbagging at least as long as i've been watching, two days or so.

fuckin kino tho.

not doing a twist for new years was retarded. but this, this almost makes up for it (it doesn't)

but killing off the hottest girl on the show, definite thirst trap (who will be replaced, they need a summer/letty/betty/taylor), did take balls.

if you can believe the polls (you can't), it was unanimously in favor of shinji, and taylor was close second. audience was split on kicking off tj or jimmy, both of which are still on.

(they HAD to get rid of taylor OR jimmy. liability but also just was too real, the hate)

even though it's manufactured, the autistic childbrain of tj can't see it (feel bad for him kind of like a puppy, but tbh the stimming was/is so cringe).
thinks the reality, finding the nicest person to be near, was like romantic.

sacrificed her, we'll see if he actually kicks it up a notch (puts shoes on(?!), wears a hat) after the sacrifice

You answered your own question. He's dumb.
I feel bad for him, though, because his own dumbness.
its all about survival of the fittest. If he can't make it in fishtank, then that's it. There's no hope in life.

Also attic session is like when they take the final boss phase of a jrpg and just make it a conversation between you and the main antagonist.

I'm just giving you a fair warning, people in here are a passionate bunch. Be prepared if your final conclusion goes against the grain.
My opinions are usually met with some degree of animosity so I don’t take it personally, at least I try not to. I’ll probably spend more time reading things until I post about them though, I don’t like to encourage my own ignorance. I don’t think I’ll let it take up too much of my time because it’s just Fishtank, I don’t have the room for an encyclopedia of retards. That’s what the farms are for, fren. 😁

TJ tells Taylor she's being kicked off so he can stay
It was just like, one big gaslighting session with lots at stake. Sam said "maybe initiative is what you're lacking" which was the whole reason TJ was being brought up there in the first place. He even said stuff like "You're the fucking main character, so now I have four more weeks of show to fill" so he would feel guilty for leaving too soon. Sam snickered at one point or another, faltering in front of his audience.

He was just trying to make TJ into more of a man, really. "I've seen you, probably a dozen times now, where it's obvious you know what you wanna do, but you just waiver. When dealing with people down there." So he gassed him up and gave him an ultimatum. At one point Sam told him he needs to put on a mask to talk to women and said "'cause we all lie to get what we want" which was just a veiled admission of what he was doing to TJ right then. This is Fishtank with more sophisticated gaslighting, I feel it fits the bedlam theme very well.

My only question is what Sam would've done if TJ just slumped and said "I'm leaving."

I unfortunately missed the Attic Session.
Times like this I wish sneedchat was persistent so someone could edit in a live sneedchat reaction. It was a fun roller coaster

I don't think TJ is going to last much longer in the tank. However, if he loses, he can say he did it with shoes on his feet and his hands still at his side. I don't know if TJ talk no jutsu'd or tard no jutsu'd his way through today, but I'm glad Sam managed to get everyone to root for TJ.

The whole attic scene was pure kino and I'm glad I watched it. What TJ currently does not realize, is that Taylor was not a fish and thus, not eligible for the grand prize. It was a choice between his "heart and brain" and a lesson to take initiative. "Everyone lies to get what they want" is a true statement, which applies to almost everything, not only for searching a romantic partner. It's cruel, but it is how it is.
This whole thing was a test, which TJ passed with flying colors, even if it costed a shred of his sanity. Or Sam fucked with him just because. It's Sam Hyde.
Taylor was never into him in the first place and I doubt that she will make contact with him again.
My only question is what Sam would've done if TJ just slumped and said "I'm leaving."
My speculation: Taylor would've replaced him as a fish and get a chance to win the grand prize.
Not even sure why he's upset. Wasn't he begging taylor for chips and for her to bomb so he could stay? and when they literally had to beg at the camera for several minutes taylor kept giving support for TJ.
He developed feelings for her, and this was her purpose.

Maybe I completely misheard it, didn't follow the TJ-Taylor thing that close, but I thought he was offering to give her chips?

Holy shit, I never even thought of it that way. That this was like an honest to God development Arc for TJ. Fucking wild man.

She didn't have enough chips to make rent, so he was begging her to borrow some of his so she could stay. She told him she was going to bomb at the standup challenge anyway and offered for him to take all of her chips since she expected to leave tonight no matter what. Then she said she would intentionally bomb the standup challenge and get herself eliminated just to make sure he could stay, and he was conflicted because he wanted them both to stay so they could be together and by the time he realized that was impossible (or at least highly unlikely) the standup challenge had to begin.

The thing is, I don't understand why he's so sad about what he did. This is exactly what Taylor expected. She told him earlier that she was 100% willing to get herself eliminated for him, this is what she wanted and her willingness to do this for him was pretty much the only genuine affection she ever showed him the whole time she was in the tank.
