I have an invisible disease that is a genetic condition - not related to the lymphatic system. I can assure you, Evie, that had you not been morbidly obese when you suffered the foot injury, you would have not developed the “invisible disease” you are now dealing with. The faultless attitude of this whiner is what pisses me off more than anything. There are normal bodied people who develop lymphedema as the result of compromised systems, but she isn’t one of them. So fucking insulting.

Bottom left image- are those Jeremy's kids?

I can imagine how thrilled they must be that Evie is publicly showing off their association to her! I wish we could hear what they say about her.

looking at those fat fuck kids they should be asking evie about the fat fuck socks she wears and getting recommendations for the best double wide wheelchair brands

Glimpse of the future, boys

When I got to the invisible illness part I tried to follow but felt like I had a stroke. Her lymphedema can't be both visible and invisible at the same time unless it's camouflaged quite well by how huge she is in general, and personally I'd bet that her weight gain since being fully chairbound has less to do with lymphedema and more to do with eating all day and no longer even burning a few calories via walks to the fridge or the john. But yes, Evie, you're right about the part where you expected us to blame your condishuns on the fact that you're really fucking fat. Your injury would be healed by now if you weren't so fucking fat, bedrest wouldn't even cause significant amounts of lymph to accumulate if you weren't so fucking fat, you probably wouldn't have even suffered the injury in the first place if you weren't so fucking fat, and an issue with your ankle/foot wouldn't prevent you from using a toilet or wiping your own ass if you weren't so fucking fat.

Evie doesn't have lymphedema; she has straight-up edema. You want to retain fluid in your legs? Sit all damned day.

Combine that with her damp, wheezing breaths as she speaks, her obvious cognitive decline, and the fact she has "heart meds" she forgets to take, and I wonder if she's been diagnosed with CHF yet.

If CICO "isn't working" and you're sure of it. Absolutely sure. 100%-being brutally honest with yourself-sure, then you need to see a professional.

Hey did this ever turn out to be really real or was it grazing and underestimating actual calories in, while over estimating calories out?

I keep wondering why people think their bodies somehow violate thermodynamics. Where the fuck do you get the carbon atoms from to maintain your fat ass weight? FOOD. How do you lose it? BREATHING OUT CO2.

"But I'm more efficient" OK so your mitochondria violate thermodynamics or have a novel pathway nobody else has? Really? REALLY? No.

WATER WEIGHT, that's different! Actual thyroid shit, that's different! But that's never the case when you scrutinize, is it?

99% this, but there are some (very rare) exceptions of non-metaboic tissue.
e.g.
  • Tumors, generally, will not shrink through diet and exercise
  • Nor will parasitic twins
  • Nor will cysts
  • Nor will lipedema nodules (but the normal fat around them will)
If you're actually tracking everything you're eating, and you're actually fairly certain of how many calories you're burning (and not in an Anna O'Brian "I biked a mile, that's probably like a million calories"-way) and you still have some weight that just won't go away, get that checked out.

Don't those things still use up calories and suck bodyfat from the rest of you, though?

Yes, you will weigh more as much as that lump weighs, but besides the lump that should be obvious when you're not a death fat, wouldn't that help you lose weight? Unless it's ischemic and later necrotic, of course.

Rosey/Roseybeeme started an ~~intentional weight loss journey~~ about a year ago and pissed off a bunch of fat girl influencers, most notably Corissa. She's visibly lost weight and I'm loving her continuing to alienate the fat acceptance crowd.

First photo is from about a year ago; forgive my awkward screen grab, I was trying to get a solid comparison shot. Second and third were just posted.

How the hell is this woman still alive?

A lifelong friend of my father's became the first man in his family to meet his grandchildren in several generations. Severe heart disease has plagued their genetic line for a very long time. Towards the end of his predicted lifespan my father's friend became very depressed, but then new surgery techniques burst onto the scene and after multiple very complex operations, he gained thirty years. During those thirty years, he made certain to live as much as possible, and saw the extra time as a gift. It wasn't easy but what he had, he made the most he possibly could.

And here's this woman, whose parents and doctors fought like hell to keep alive since before she was born, spending her entire life just eating and posting on social media.

Jfc. I'm going for a walk.

In the vast majority of cases it's because they're not paying attention to what they eat. They only count what they ate during a meal, never consider the snacks or the extras. Like they'll grab a coffee and dump sugar and cream into it but only treat that as a "coffee". Or they overestimate how many calories they burned. Somebody who does heavy cardio and runs for an hour might only lose 800 calories. They will then say that they burned twice that amount and, because they were so good, they go out and have a treat to celebrate which puts the calories right back on.

Then there's the unfortunate ones that legit have problems and either can't lose weight or gain it really easily. This could be due to some metabolic disorder or they have something exercise doesn't affect like a fifty pound tumor.

Yes a family member of mine had this issue, but didn't realize it until she was in the navy. While physically, she looked like one of the fittest women in the room and was a skinny minny (had always been), she was constantly a good 5-10lbs heavier than she was supposed to be by their standards and was constantly ordered for "fat camp" after weigh ins (I believe it was just a specific diet and exercise I don't know the details). I'm not sure if they still do this because it was the 80s. She ended up ballooning in her 40s, despite doing hard labor for work for a good 10 hours a day minimum and she ate pretty healthy in moderate portions. Of course because she had VA health insurance they never bothered to look into why.

She's the only person I can legitimately think of that had an actual, though undiagnosed, medical reason for weight gain. There was no other explanation for it. She never got even close to deathfat size though.

Also it looks like Evie is about to out fat her wheelchair.

In this case, weight isn't being fat. We say weight to skirt around "you're fat, you're carrying body fat." She wasn't fat.

Poor thing, though. They ever figure out what's up with her?
