I used Linux Mint, it was awful
  • The NVIDIA drivers wouldn't save my settings because the config file didn't exist. I made the file and got access denied errors. I fixed the access errors, got another error. Nothing fixed it, I had to manually change my desktop resolution every time I booted
  • 3 different programs failed to detect my hardware temp monitors. I could only ever get CPU temps and GPU fan speeds
  • The one program I use for work would never install correctly under Wine. I guess it's not really a mark against Linux since it's an obscure Windows 7 program but there's no point for me to use an OS that I can't work on
I'm staying on Windows 10 for the rest of my life I don't care if I won't be able to connect to the Internet or play new games in 10 years. I'm tired of this computer bullshit, total programmer death

Could you do what they used to do with like Sega Genesis graphics? fill the drink's color in with a moasic or like dot pattern so it looks transparent? I'm not an artsy nigga so I'm probably describing it badly, but look at old sprite sheets that look to be filled in with a checkerboard like pattern... maybe something like that.

Forgot about this place. I wonder if this area is actively anti-green BS seeing as most EVs and modern vehicles in general are filled to the brim with IOT bullshit? Something like a Tesla with all of it's always connected 'autonomy' should probably be blatantly blanket banned, but I doubt that happens.

https://ezgif.com/help/gif-transparency It appears actual transparency can be used in a gif, I think I've made one like that before, but it really only is encouraged if the GIF doesn't have a lot of detail going on especially considering multiple colors. Not an expert on this either, but yeah mosaic rendering is a good way to get around limitations like this is still used even today, pretty sure it's something that is actively done to slowly hide objects as they get closer in games, think Breath of the Wild did that, as a big recent enough name. It's way cheaper resource wise to do than actual transparency, I believe, and it's similarly convincing anyway.

This program has notified Transgender C&C your computer's information and an intentionally defective video driver update was pushed out to your computer specifically.

I have a weird love/hate relationship with arch. It's great until it breaks, but I don't really want my shit to ever break.

When I had my "Windows sucks" phase, I experimented with many different distros and ended up sticking with Nobara. It uses Fedora as a base but you still get all the goodies for gaming and so far it's been stable as a rock for me. The only games I can't play are broken due to Anticheat software.

Btw, using Nvidia on Linux is alright as long as you're sticking to X11 OR use Wayland with the proper patches, which some distros have already baked in for less savvy people.
