You make a good point, a damn good one in fact. Thing is, their only youth outreach is Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA touring the college campuses and the only people who turn out to that are the ones who are super into politics. Other than that, the GOP is basically the equivalent of a bunch of old people getting together to remanence about the good ol days.

I’ve been pretty offline lately but all this Reagan talk has me waxing nostalgic: has Mitt Romney been up to any antics lately? He’s normally a pretty good bellweather for the worst GOP takes. He’s got an uncanny, John McCain-like ability to be 180 degrees from what humans think on any issue.

Is he finally slinking away to some Mormon compound to end his days, or is he nursing some new treachery into existence?

He’s been super quiet as he rides out his last year before retiring. He might backstab later in the year as a final fuck you on some legislation or even make a big press statement that he will endorse Joepedo, but he might be working the backrooms in Utah to pick his RINO successor.
