General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Unless Mumei or Nina/Matara extend a hand out, but who knows...
Honestly I can't see Selen in Holo, Pomu I could (though I feel like Nina's already in the works there on that front) but Selen's issues with perms autism will only be worse in Holo, there were times that Selen would work around it by reaching out and contacting people herself, but I think doing that would just get her in trouble in Holo. That on top of the fact that I cannot picture Selen thinking "yeah the more Idol angled company, that's where I should go"

I think it is more likely for Selen to be an indie again. I do not see her joining any other corpos.
Hard to imagine her in any of the corpos
Vshojo would give her freedom and will probably have at least a couple of friends but it's hardly her kind of place
Holo would give her more support but would still not give her the freedom to organize events like she wants, I see that as a bigger problem than the idol aspect personally. Fat fucks like Botan and Okayu got fit, she could too
VSPO seems like a good fit to me but people say she isnt good enough for it?

Overall I'd say Vshojo still seems most likely

I think the biggest problem with VSPO is that it doesn't have that much of a presence in the EN scene. If VSPO EN had two gens out and a longer presence in the EN scene, it could be a more valid candidate for Selen to join than what it is now.

It comes for us all, one way or another. Didn't really watch Pomu outside some of the Metal Gear stuff. It's just kinda upsetting that this is the way that she goes out despite everything that she's done. It was fun while it lasted. Here's just a few of my favorite Rainpuff moments.
Well if nothing else with Pomu, it got us this and I like that.

I keep trying to upload the vid with this tweet but the site is too gay and borked to handle this much sugoi. It's Lazulight's performance of Diamond City Lights from Anime Expo 2023.

If you are in the vicinity of Froot, and you make the decision to leave that location, that is a correct decision. Doesn't matter whether it's VShojo or a nuclear bunker after the missiles have launched, you get the hell away from her and your life is better.
Quick run down on Froot? Why does everyone hate her?

Well that's certainly not news I expected to come home to. That makes, what, three NijiEns leaving over the past year? Maybe four? When did Yugo leave again?

I have a strong feeling she won't be the last one to leave this year (not even counting Selen we all know)

Poor Pippa found out about Pomu's departure mid stream by seeing it in her youtube suggested feed...guess that confirms that she's not going to Phase Connect.

Some people hate her because she at one point bragged, or at least talked about, her cheating on her then husband, or boy friend I don't remember which, who was deployed. That was the first big thing that I remember happening. The other, and far more meme worthy, thing was a year ago (holy shit it was almost a year ago) when the Hogwarts Legacy shit went down with Pikamee Froot made a big public showing of how virtuous her signaling is by declaring for every like her pro trans tweet got she would donate a dollar to some trans group, Mermaids I think. Tens of thousands of people clicked a button putting her in tens of thousands of would be debt, a debt to this day she has never made good on. The other thing that people don't like is how her mom constantly antagonizes people on twitter declaring that her little girl can do no wrong and mocking people who call out Froot. Truth be told, if you didn't know of any of the drama I doubt you'd think Apricot was anything more than just another streamer.

Her doing Limp Bizkit remains one of my favorite karaokes along with her stupid Toad voice ones. I don't even particularly like LB but the amount of vtubers who can sing and are willing to sing something that isn't shit and/or anime is astoundingly low, to the point that the only one who immediately comes to mind is Ami. Rosemi and Ame slip in some good stuff every once in a while and they're fun to listen to since they seem to be having fun but neither are really great singers.

Sara is doing metal (doubt) and rock songs tomorrow so maybe she'll slip something good in:

Damn this one hurts more than Coco.

And with Pomu gone, she was the bridge between Elira and Finana, and the cliques have really made it so I wouldn't be surprised if Feesh leaves too (and she would do well in VShojo). Feesh either interacted/collab'd with Pomu or some of the newer generations, she's been blocked out of the first 3 gens in a lot of things excluding something like Rosemi's 12 Days of Christmas song (and Rosemi is too naive to be part of the clique).

It was Mermaids, which is a UK organization that push for younger people to transition. Also her at the time coworker Silvervale was crying on stream because of Hogwarts Legacy backlash and her response in chat was 'It's okay, everyone makes mistakes.' Guess it is consistent with her beliefs but that was cold. Don't remember if it happened before or after the Mermaids tweet though.

She's had a big group song for all of the holoEN girls in the works for a long time now, it's what she spent that 1 Million yen she won as a prize back in the summer. She mentioned during mariokart last night that it had a bunch of setbacks and production issues but it was supposed to be releasing this week but has now been kicked back again for unknown reasons.
Cover sounds like they can be a headache to work with when it comes to producing projects. Any time Gura's talked about working on projects she always sounds frustrated, even describing one as having its soul ripped out.

People pointed out that they unsurprisingly ended up having numerous pedophilia scandals involving higher-ups, big enough to make news headlines and Wikipedia.

She said she'd be willing to change the charity but absolutely nothing else has been brought up by her since then.
