I was there during one of Drinker's livestreams when a fan dropped a massive Super Chat. Like $200 or something. Halfway through reading it, he realized the guy was basically sending him a suicide note, and everyone on the show stopped to urge him not to go through with it. His chat mods spent the rest of the stream talking to the guy, and he refunded the money as well as personally following up with the donator to check on his mental wellbeing.
Had Adam received that same message and donation, considering how much he seems to despise the concept of emotions having any real meaning, I'm guessing his response would have been to toss up a peace sign.

He always makes his Christmas reviews about making a point of some sort like how his review of The Nutcracker 3D is a homage of sorts to his late mother and also sendoff to his first studio, I'll Be Home For Christmas has this legit good speech centred on dealing with assholes in life, Christmas Story 2 has a very nice ending about being careful in how you treat others and then there's Christmas with the Kranks, that one ties to how living in the past or trying to bury it can damage your growth both as an artist and as a person. It even features Doug being made fun of about his awkward relation to the show Doug, his balding, his film-making efforts, it even has a joke about Demo Reel. There's Christmas making a writer out of you and then there's this. I also like the Kranks review because it led to Doug making a Cameo account and donating to ToysForTots.

When Metokur was doing his TGWTG series, he said that Doug, while certainly having his cringe moments, is probably the best of the Angry Critic crowd if for no other reason than he understands who butters his bread. He knows he would be nothing without his faithful viewers, and he goes out of his way to be respectful towards them. Even during that Change the Channel shit, the worst thing people had to say about him is that he doesn't like direct confrontation.
Compare that with retards like Linkara and Spoony who can't go two seconds without sperging out at their own fans.

If people are mistaking your fox from a wolf or vice versa, that is a failure of your art. Of course most furry artists can't actually draw the physical facial differences between the two and instead just have a generic canine face style and just change the style of tail or fur patterns to show what species they are.
