Some of the limited time offer flavors from Pepsi are mixed bags. I tried Crystal Pepsi for a while back in early-2017 during its return, and I had no clue what to think of it..Holiday spice pepsi. Shit was magic.
Pepsi 1886 or w/e as well.

I remember trying it too. It was okay, nothing special, but not bad. Some of the limited time offer flavors from Pepsi are mixed bags. I tried Crystal Pepsi for a while back in early-2017 during its return, and I had no clue what to think of it..
It was the same as normal pepsi iirc, but clear. However, being clear really takes away from the experience. Or, at least, the expectation. Some of the limited time offer flavors from Pepsi are mixed bags. I'm pretty sure that was a large part of why it was discontinued - the association of clear sodas with stuff such as 7up and Sprite meant that an uncola-noncolored cola was strange to people. It was the same as normal pepsi iirc, but clear. It was almost pepsi, but with a slight cinnamon/cyanide flavor to it.It was the same as normal pepsi iirc, but clear. However, being clear really takes away from the experience. Or, at least, the expectation.
I remember the 2017 version tasting nothing like normal Pepsi, more like another citrus drink. It was the same as normal pepsi iirc, but clear. However, being clear really takes away from the experience. Or, at least, the expectation.
Weird, it tasted just like pepsi to me. But clear.I remember the 2017 version tasting nothing like normal Pepsi, more like another citrus drink.
I'm honestly shocked that PepsiCo hasn't considered bringing Holiday Spice back for a winter run, you'd think that the demand for Crystal Pepsi and various discontinued flavors of Mountain Dew would make a few employees ask a few questions.Holiday spice pepsi. Shit was magic.

I think that's more of a psychological thing, I had Crystal Pepsi during it's more recent limited-edition runs and I only ever detected a citrus "taste" during its 2016 run.I remember the 2017 version tasting nothing like normal Pepsi, more like another citrus drink.
I don't know, for me Crystal Pepsi did taste like generic soda. Sure, it may have been clear, which explains the flavor, but it doesn't really taste like actual PepsiWeird, it tasted just like pepsi to me. But clear.
It's probably because of the lack of caramel color, even though it's used as food coloring it does serve as a source of bitterness for sodas that have it as an ingredient.I don't know, for me Crystal Pepsi did taste like generic soda. If we compare Crystal to another infamous flavor, Pepsi Blue, it contained a highly "controversial" variant of color for taste (at least of the time of that product's release) Brilliant blue FCF (Blue 1). It's ironic because that itself is one of the oldest FDA-approved color additives that's considered nontoxic and safe. One of Crystal Pepsi's ingredients consists of modified starch for its clear ingredients. It's probably because of the lack of caramel color, even though it's used as food coloring it does serve as a source of bitterness for sodas that have it as an ingredient.
Go for itI think I'll start brewing my own soda. What's the worst that could happen?
There's also a Liquid Ice that was available in groceries during the minority of the early-2000s. In addition, the Frost flavors were discontinued in 2022.Sometime, during the multiple years it took me to go through a (6 or 8?)-pack box of these Ice Breakers Peach Iced Tea mints that I kept in my shop, apparently they were discontinued.

Liz Blizz and Wisdom were great hangover helpers.Gas stations and the like used to have a million different kinds of drink but now everything is the same dozen sugar waters. I can't even find the irish blend monster anymore. The only place I've seen that still has it I saw six hours away while on a business trip.
