It's such an obvious abuse it should be shut down via the shadow docket, but it's going to full argument.

Also.... not an option here. I am presuming the poster means when SCOTUS leaves it technically on the docket but does not actually take up the case so it remains in limbo and on indefinite hold.
The problem is that there are now multiple competing Sate Supreme Court rulings. As I said before, this creates a situation where SCOTUS -has- to take it up. Its the one situation where SCOTUS has its hand forced. They cannot leave it on docket and stayed because one of these -is- wrong and need to be determined right away.

That sounds like a decent idea that would be pushed by the likes of Biden's handlers. I don't think it will work very well though, because gas prices are just one of the dozen things that have skyrocketed in price and they would need to keep pushing this artificial oil infusion all the way to November for it to really work.

The rust belt has always been economically depressed and the first hit by recessionary forces, at least since the great ongoing betrayal of domestic industry that started in the 1970's.
Even if your part of the rust belt produces food, rocketing food prices are causing people to substitute shittier goods or simply buy less.

I suspect the gas prices are cheaper because the rust belt/great lakes region is being so absolutely shithammered by biden's economy that the sheer number of people laid off and no longer commuting, or under stress and no longer leisure traveling, is causing excess in supply there.

To be fair, gen X should have complained a bit more in general seeing how absolutely irrelevant they are compared to boomers and Millenials. That and Zoomers being raised in a full online environment is probably not helping them not expect immediate gratification.
