Before Shinji left, he was counting up how many points he had. It was hard for me to hear him, but it sounded like he was estimating wrong and thought Tay had way more of a lead over him than she actually did (her actual lead was 2 points). I think he figured they could both stay in the room indefinitely, and that it would go down to points and he would lose. Don't quote me on that though, it was hard to understand what he was saying, especially with TTS going.

It would be fucked if they brought him back on due to this misunderstanding.

I doubt they're doing this but the timing is funny

that makes more sense, i wasn’t paying attention and thought he was assuming he had more points. i remember he was saying that he thought the producers were tired of the cell challenge cause its boring. probably a reasonable call but the most anti-climactic ending possible. sam will be beyond pissed as hes probably en route now with fresh twitter ideas for the cell finale.

I get disagrees every time. But this is why I said Brian was a valuable asset. You want people willing to die for that money. Shinji already has a lot of revenue streams that he’s explored. A lot of these idiots are here for the “experience”. If Brian were still here you can guarantee he and Tay would still be in there.

Am I the only one that thinks Ben pulling Duane out of the room was incredibly shitty? I know Sam and to a lesser degree Jet are going to fuck with the fish and tell them blatant lies sometimes, but there does need to be a certain degree of authority given towards what production says. If they start meddling in what's intended to be a competition(beyond the meddling they're expected to do), it sets a really bad precedent.

i agree it sets a bad precedent but it was worth it to stop kanye before he smeared his shit on the wall

I thought it was shitty. I get no one likes him but he was pissing off the other fish and also seemed really in it to win it. They could have just told him to stop with his poop antics. And like you said, it sets a bad precedent and only further teaches the fish that the rules are made up and the points don't matter, so why bother.

Sam is going to have a heart attack at this rate. Nearly every day now he has had to give a speech about how everyone is boring, and how they should actually compete with eachother. Just for them to end a challenge well before either one of those two were at their breaking point. :story:

I honestly believe there isn't a small chance Sam cut the stream to give the remaining fish a talking to. I can see him roiding out as soon as Shinji casually walked out of the challenge.
It also wouldn't surprise me if he's pissed at the production on at the time for not letting Jimmy have his meds(based on his recent Twitter post) and Ben's stunt with Duane. Denying someone access to their medications is a massive liability no-no. It was mentioned during Ben's kicking out of Duane that Jet was asleep and Sam was offsite at the time. He was only gone for a few hours and they try to speedrun the Stanford Prison Experiment.

Stream is back on. Jet comes in, asks why Shinji left. Tay doesn't know, said Shinji was talking about points and then just left. Jet tells Tay to sit in the room and wait, Sam will be there in 10 minutes.

Jimmy busts in b1 and screams, "Get that nigger bitch off the plane!" He then says he didn't go back into the room because he hadn't had his meds recently and he was paranoid it was a psyop lol

Edit: I failed to mention he is wearing a Burger King hat.
