I sometimes wonder... why is Asmongold so big? His streams are painfully boring, the guy is so mediocre it hurts. Are normies just that attracted to beige, texture-less, flavorless mush?

ETA and the one that I heard this about first was thequartering and that had to be 2 weeks ago, then nothing. It'll be interesting if muta/critikal say anything on this. Charlie especially has been hesitant to call others out lately, he has some goofiness known about him and I expect a lot of skeletons with him too.

Charlie is no better, him and his cronies pumped out videos sympathizing and highlighting amuronath's plight and life struggles which were all so laughable and blatant scams so she could rake in even more simp money. Jewtube promotes these fraudsters in their algorithm to the whole world .

I want to say this is another case of streamers being lazy and not putting their due diligence in, but in this case let's be real they knew because they were getting a fee for it.

Also any charity that would work with a group taking such a big cut is iffy as fuck, better charities within the same fields I willing to bet are far cleaner.

edit: Difference between this and Jirard is what he did could very well be illegal, while this is just highly unethical but unlikely for any laws to have been broken. Not that it should stop a backlash but these people will use the fact it wasn't illegal to twist it to it not being wrong.

If you actually sit and watch these streamers, who just sit and play video games while making minimal/boring af commentary, you're a no-life loser. Please get a real hobby, even playing video games is better than watching these losers who contribute nothing to society.
(I get watching highlighted clips when drama comes out but even then I'm hardly interested).

From what I remember, his take was that it's inevitable that they would win, because Google is a massive corporations and people are generally conformists who would rather give up than jump through many hoops to block ads. Not that he likes ads or wants adblocks gone. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. It's an opinion that makes sense at least, even if it's pessimistic.
His take that Twitch whores should be allowed on the platform is far more of a problem, though last I remember he pointed out that Twitch is beating around the bush (no pun intended) with their rules to supposedly address the problem, and should instead be going after the core issue, such as the fact that they're allowed to shill their OnlyFans and such on Twitch. He tends to be fairly nuanced compared to most on majority of topics.
Only streamer I was willing to pay even the slightest bit of attention to, because he seemed genuine, despite there being nothing admirable about his lifestyle.

But this charity shit is certainly disappointing. I never trusted any of it to begin with, on the account that most streamers/influencers are disingenuous cunts and that it's at best plain virtue signalling and at worst an outright fraud. Wasn't aware of this particular event though.
Gonna be interesting to see how this situation evolves, here's hoping that everyone knowingly profiting from this while their audience assumed it's all purely for charity gets what they deserve.
