I can't say for sure, but I imagine most black people have never had Indian food.Have we ascertained the general consensus among blacks about Indian food? Do they appreciate it because it's 'seasoned' or do they hate it because it's too hot and makes them shit which disrupts their hygiene regimen?
I myself had never had it until five years ago when I got this kick of wanting to try lots of different types of food.
I don't know how common it actually is.
It's also straight up poverty cuisine / poor people food. You can tell when you're eating it. Paying $10 for more for a plate of their slop just feels wrong. Like $20 instant ramen.
