In point of fact, the NPS isn't even bothering to put up the public comment period it is legally obligated to do, and in fact said it would do in the article. A current list of solicitations for public comment does not include this project at all. This is not about what "folks in Philly" want. This is the federal government deciding something on the basis of no public movement whatsoever, and refusing to even perform their basic due diligence to make sure this is something the public would accept.

The fuckers who constantly say that various states deserve the systemic mismanagement they receive are a refrain that got tiring the 30th fucking time or so that someone had to explain that in many of said states, everything has been done to prevent them from having an actual say in their own government. Pennsylvania is undeniably one of the most horrid examples of this shit, and I sympathize, because it's the same stupid fucktardry that's hit a lot of blue states.

The powers that be know that the people of these states barely fucking tolerate them, and if given so much as a hair-thin chance, would throw their stupid asses out in a nanosecond were they able. As such, they do everything to stack the deck as high as possible, and their pet RINOs across the aisle help the stupid fucks do it. "Oh, yeah, we won't even run candidates in that state, enjoy having to choose between Dems in the primary when the establishment candidate has infinite money and outsider candidates are actively sabotaged." And naturally, when an outsider does squeak by, they'll fortify like mad to ensure the win.

Do not despair, however. Like @Gehenna mentioned, every time they're forced to go to extremes to thwart us (on both sides of the aisle), they have to devote resources to it, and the more they do it, the more expensive and more unsustainable we make it for them. At the same time, we're gradually taking control of local offices and party affiliates as the relentless march of time claims its toll and the old guard retire or die.

A monumental opportunity is coming, and we're going to do everything we can to capitalize on it.

Tearing down the William Penn statue makes it clear that it's not about slavery or racism or anything else anymore. It's just about eliminating white people from the history books. Quakers were the woke progressives of the 17th century. If William freaking Penn doesn't even pass the progressive test for a historical figure worthy of remembrance, for no other reason than he was white, then neither does anybody else. They really are going to dynamite Rushmore.

In a way, it's actually more insidious having the media not officially be state-owned but still take orders from the government in how they cover certain things, because at least state-owned media doesn't have a veil of "nuh-uh, we're totally independent reporters coming to our own conclusions" that they can hide behind.

Turns out the fed who shot Ashli Babbitt tried to claim there was a shootout in the Capitol after gunning her down.

I want to remind everyone that we had a chance to stop this shit with the confederate memorials getting torn down. Instead conservatives thumped their chest about how they hate the confederacy more than progressives and that they love niggers more than progressives. They have a searing hatred for white people and they don’t give a shit whether they’re abolitionists to a fault like the quakers or the most nigger-hating confederate soldier. We’re all the same to them and no amount of sleights of hand and well ackchually is going to change that.

Plenty of people opposed the removal of those statues and warned of an escalation. They were called racist, shadowbanned, and some were probably visited by the FBI.
