Wait, isn't Beleth supposed to be some kind of aspect or projection or avatar for Jupet or something? So why are they having a pointless argument about fuck only knows now? Isn't that a bit like yelling at your own hand because it stole all the cookies and put them in your mouth and dammit, you were on a diet? Christ but I have absolutely no idea what's going on here except we're all supposed to feel very sorry for PK's favourite Mary Sue, and that doesn't really help explain any of it.

I was looking at PK's old Kickstarter for Seeds: Book One, and noticed one of the rewards was to receive a character cameo in chapter 6-10. Across the tiers that offered it, six people signed on for a character cameo. The Kickstarter took place in April 2015, and the "estimated delivery" was November 2015.

It's almost November 2016, and we're still on "Chapter Five" of Seeds. Sheesh.

I'm sure the kind of Flora fan that pays $200 and more is just spineless enough to wait years for it, even if PK forgets all about it.

Then when Chapter 5 of Seeds is finally done, PK decides to do "Itchy Itchy Redo #3" for months.

Yeah, that adult design is hideous. I feel like PK mostly did this to give the middle finger to people that accused her of underage porn because Beleth was controlled by Jupet but did not have this intention originally.
Called it.
-Actually I think a lot of us called it twenty pages or so ago.

Either way that design is unfortunate and learly poorly-executed. Not only that, but the fluffy mane looks like tumors or massive wart growths.
Is Jupet bitching at Beleth or is it just doing it's own thang while someone else bitches at Beleth? The style of bubbles making it fucking impossible to tell as well as the mouth not corresponding to the "discussion" on Jupet's end.

I'm assuming they're speaking via telepathy, hence why their mouths don't match with the dialogue.

Why do I always miss all the good shit...? Oh my god, why are PK and Eevee acting so guilty about the investigation scandal? What idiots! Most people would be embarrassed, and just complain about THAT, wouldn't you think??

Anyway, as for the new page, sorry, I'm completely fucking lost. But what's new. I guess that renders my post pointless, because I'm at a loss for words and suffering MAJOR Beleth fatigue. D:

I'd like to address this because I've been kind of feeling the same.

First, though, there was that discussion between Katy and PK about re-read value. As far as Floraverse is concerned, what's that? People are just forced to backtrack everytime One Important Page gets posted because this 2deep4me storyline needs to be dragged on forever, so everything up to that point must be ultra-convoluted and lacking on information, otherwise the story is over and people will abandon ship.

It's lame that PK's been milking the Beleth/Jupet storyline for this long. It's been how many installments, already? Just get this "mystery" done with and move on to a new character, or shift the focus to another plot or something. This is my personal opinion, but I think if you want to make your novels about one single character, don't make them literally ONE story that takes forever to unfold, like, don't drag the same plot on and on and on. This is what tires people, and it's frustrating that everything "complex" needs to be delivered in riddles and metaphors that no one understands.

I don't get the hand-holding part. Nobody wants to be hand-held and guided through the story. Puzzles are great, but if you're going to withhold pieces, instead of just lying them all disorganized on the table, how the hell am I supposed to solve them? I get PK's approach, and I think it's valid and, to be honest, I like it, but I don't really appreciate how she pulls it off. It takes FOREVER for things to happen, and it's been a chore to follow because stuff's always littered with filler that makes even less sense than the main story (whatever it is).

Now, concerning the update, I don't know what's going on, but I theorize the Theater Troupe are reality-breakers/re-setters and are probably working with Jupet and TAL to get important things in Hellside because... some reason. And Jupet uses many Beleths to accomplish that. I'd actually like to see Jupet revealing himself to be an evil overlord that is resetting reality in Hellside and messing with its inhabitants for his own amusement.

Also, this grown Jupet reminds me of a Steven Universe thing that has hair like that and is tall, but I can't be arsed to remember its name.

On another note, Marl had a little hissyfit in the comments section because pronouns. There was also a little discussion on "no humans in Flora" and I actually enjoy seeing that pop up every now and again because it reminds me the real reason behind that rule is that PK can't draw people to save her life.

Not mine, but the person who made it had the right idea.

Couldn't agree more.

Which is super ironic, that "no humans." The prologue aka back when the story had potential had very humanoid silouettes interacting with what is supposed to be a God, so any time she or one of her furry followers brings it up I just :story:

-Assuming that the creatures getting their asses wiped out in the Prologue weren't some sort of icky human stand-in... all the china is still most certainly humanoid-derrived because PK likes to self insert a little too much.

Well, I agree, but I don't in a way, and I'll tell ya why.

It's totally fine to swing this "deep" sorta shit in the ways that you mentioned, but I don't think the fantasy/whole different universe genre really has ROOM for it. The reader can't be burdened with both learning about the world building AND trying to decipher metaphors or nonsense like that. It's just not the right place for it. If this were a more human or relatable story or setting, I might be more open to it, but I'm struggling just to grasp what the fuck sorta creatures I'm looking at to even be BOTHERED to worry about the abstract, pretentious nonsense.

Half the time, I'm not even sure if it's deep. I'm pretty convinced that she is just a clueless as the rest of us, and is pulling whatever out of her ass, just to giggle at her job well done in confusing the shit out of people. What a smart cookie she is, amirite?
